Back to school guys, when I became a Dive Instructor I never really expected that I’d become a chemistry, biology and physics teacher at the same time. As children we scoffed at all of the classes we used to take and what we learned as if we’d never need to know these things as an adult but guess what some things we learned in school directly affect us when scuba diving. I mean probably not pottery or how to use a semicolon properly but science and maths yeah.
In today’s class, you’ll be learning about the smart boys from history that defined what is happening to you when you go scuba diving and the laws of physics that we are currently at mercy to.
So get out your textbooks and turn to page 52 so we can learn about our Top Scuba Diving Laws of Physics.

The law of Visa - In that the amount of diving you can do is inversely proportional to your credit card balance.

Wouldn't that be DIRECTLY proportional? As in a high number of awesome dives is equal to an identical awesomely high credit card balance. :D

Or you can own all your gear and be trained to dive without guide. Then shore diving is just the cost of the airfill.

@@KimonFrousios Very little good shore diving where I am at. The cheapest diving is in cave country, but you really need to be full cave ($$$$) to get the most out of it.

The law I like most is " Must Dive, Must be safe, Must have fun, Must repeat often " Don't think it yet has a name but if I were to name it, (Which I think I will), It would be called...The Law Of Diving".
