Exactly the same problem with a clio 3. Right after heavy snow that put the wipers under a thick layer, they stopped working. At first they made strange directions. Then worked fine. But a day later, system didn't work. Car is also almost 13 years, so i will try your method and see if we can safe it. Thx for your video.

Thanks man, I have a similar issue, I will probably need to replace all that system, as one wiper is working but the other does not, so I suppose the plastic gear is broken. Thanks for explaining all the process.

What if the wires are not good because ours is wet from the selves and stopped wortking

Hey if the wires are no good then I would trace the wires back untill they are good and then make new wires 👍

What about if they work, but stop working after driving a few miles. They always seem to work at first when I drive away., could it be a relay?

Hey I would still check that earth point on the motor and all the electrical connections, you could test the plug when it stops working to see if you have power there if you do then you know it’s the motor 👍

Hi I have a Megane 2014 issue with rear wiper not working ( fronts work ) would this be a fuse issue ?

Hey 👋, it’s possible, I would check the hand book for the fuse list and see if it runs its own fuse, you can also get the the plug and check to see if you have power there with a multimeter. Let me know how you get on 👍

@@MrAutoFixerokay so fuse had burnt prongs, swapped out with a working fuse still no power. Got to the plug put ignition on and only get 5.69v I’m assuming it should be 12v ish ? ( noob here lol😂 )

Hi yes you should have 12v feed to the motor, you can put power directly to the motor while unplugged to check and see if the motor is ok

i have a 54 plate megane and the intermittent wipe wont work properly they just keep wiping like normal the service light comes on and a wiper fault comes up on the dash when i turn them off they stop as normal put them back on intermittent and it just keeps wiping with out stopping its only started doing this recently any ideas cheers

Hi it sounds like you have a fault with the wiper stalk itself, I would have it code read to see what it says and then go from there👍

I have a Renault Megan 2011, but my rear wiper doesn't work and the boot won't open is that a fuse issue.

It could be, but more likely to be broken wires in the boot hinge area👍
