Lack of law enforcement. High taxes.
The traffic is terrible and a lot of people are assholes up there
The traffic camera issue is highly localized. Traffic is bad everywhere now.

Traffic cameras are literally everywhere in Montgomery county. Luckily they won’t get you until you’re more than 11 mph over and for the red light cameras, remember to count to 3 before making a right turn. I haven’t gotten a camera ticket in years.

I'm adding traffic cameras to my long list of reasons to avoid Montgomery County.
Divided politics is true everywhere. Native New Yorker here, but only a few counties are actually blue. I grew up 50 minutes from Manhattan in a staunchly Republican area. Geographically most of the state is quite conservative. No different from Maryland.

What is it about living in a metro area that makes one opposed to climate change and such a proponent for the alphabet people?
Do we see the prices of living (housing) decreasing ?

Haven't watched yet, but just know I'll be super duper peeeeeeved if you don't mention the hot, muggy, oppressive summers 😉 Seriously though...this has NOT been a fun summer so far. UPDATE: 9:15 mmmhmm!
"Maryland is great." The "dark" things are not so dark and could be much worse. A few concerns I have read about are the MS-13 gangs and the possibility of kidnapping for human trafficking. Is that overall true?❤ Maryland Wannabe.
