I would not paint an old house any shade of grey. It's no longer in style. I would recommend a warm shade of white.

I've been house-shopping and to be fair, any light neutral shade on the walls is fine with me because it's not going to clash with my furniture. I can paint if I want to. Grey flooring is a whole different matter. The only wood that's grey in nature is driftwood, and maybe a really ancient boat dock. Grey flooring looks so fake and and makes the entire room look cold no matter what color the walls and furniture are. Since flooring is super expensive and a nightmare to replace, grey flooring is an automatic nope for me.

The house sold before professional pics schedule date. That being said, I should have taken my own pics 🤦🏼‍♀️
