It's a cultural stress reaction and adaptation. Soldiers in combat go through the same process. At first it goes against all you were taught and thought. then after killing up close a time or two, you realise how fragile the body is and how easy it is to kill a person. the next is easier - and the next - and the next, until you don't give it much thought anymore. like the twins I guess.

Actually, that's a very good point. In truth, it definitely appears to be the basis for Walt's actions but as the seasons develop, you begin to realize the cancer was only a blip on the real reasons Walt turned to a life of crime. Resentment, inadequacy, greed, delusional grandeur, all of these empirically act as the true foundation for Walt's transformation into Heisenberg. Caner was just the little nudge Walt needed to be within the mindset of doom, and time running out to encourage him to go through with actually taking something for once.

He parmed far away enough to be unseen and cameras at the time were sparce and blurry. Remember later in the series when Hank had to get footage from the atm machine

Walt telling skyler to CLIMB DOWN OUT OF HIS ASS was I believe one of the funniest dialogues in the entire breaking bad universe lmao. Bryan Cranston has mastered comedy and drama. A true genius on the film CAM-VAS

It’s absolutely fascinating. It reminds me a little of the character in the old movie Falling Down with Michael Douglas. He just does what he wants and goes down the wild road.

Best series ever !!!! Since this has ended I have not been able to get interested in anything else... I did binge watch Dexter after this ended which was pretty good... Although a completely different storyline I did enjoy it.

Walter White's actions took a massive pitfall after he really broke bad, and the severity of his actions far surpassed hers to begin with since he killed people. Skyler White is by no means innocent as she was forced to break bad a little bit herself and get her hands involved with drug money.

It’s crazy to think it’s been 14 years since this season aired.

From Walt and Jesse humorously "battling" in the bathroom, to Walt strangling Crazy 8 to death, was quite a change-of-gears.....

I loved the FMurk just because they foreshadowed it

Season 1 jesse pinkman was a such a great character he and walter went through craziest transformation But in season 1 jesse was like a little kid He was so childish I loved that jesse he became more serious by time which was needed but i loved this jesse

Man it's so interesting to see season 1 with such a silly quirky dark comedy feel to it fully knowing just how dark and sad it gets by the end of the series.

After having watched Better Call Saul, Breaking Bad just gives off an entirely different vibe. Peter Gould kept his promise. He changed the way we saw Breaking Bad.
