Totally agree. Chan und Lee Knows vocal skills are sooooo underrated. If you want to listen to a solo song where their voices really shine, you have to check out Chan's, I have to admit, and Lee Know’s limbo

Slump and Scars are probably my favourite Stray Kids songs. The Sound is also up there. I don't know why the Japanese songs just hit so different 🤔

please check out the english version of slump too, the song is so sad and relatable, han is a genius lyricist

6:45 I heavily agree! it’s unfortunate (but completely understandable) that he has given up on learning English, because he has a much higher skill level in the language than I think he even realises. Lee know has always spoken English with a Korean accent, which I think is his ultimate strength as he then focuses more on the language itself. He’s SO good.

I adore both of these songs! Top is so energetic and so anime and it’s a sound I love hearing from stray kids. Slump is beautiful and the english version is also very pretty and poignant. Sometimes songs can get a little clunky and awkward in translation but Slump (and my fav Levanter!!) has one of the best English versions of a kpop song, imo I believe Skz singing Slump were the first Korean artists on the First Take Channel. It’s a Japanese channel with so many great performances. Skz have been back to perform Mixtape: OH, Scars, Case 143, and Lost Me Lee Know has my fav voice in Skz and Chan is so technically stable and versatile with his vocals. Maybe among a general audience their vocals aren’t talked about as much but I see lots of Stay appreciating them! I’m glad you do too ❤

Noone notices the moment but I love how Chan says "live, 1 take, lets go" or something like that, right before they start. He balances not freaking them out or pressuring them with making them aware of "concentrate! Its time to be on now" beautifully.

I grew up watching very good anime. Now it's called a classic. I'm used to good music. Slump and TOP are the best Japanese songs skz for me (I love all their songs by the way, but these songs make me feel the feelings stronger)… especially Slump First Take 😊

6:54 I think I agree with this take because I watched a clip recently of Lee Know speaking English at one of their concerts and he barely had an accent and sounded so fluent, I was very impressed. I mean he had to take the words one after the other but he did not make any mistakes and he sounded so good, also I loved how Channie and Stays cheered him on after he finished speaking ❤

"Tower of God" is from beginning of 2020. Stray Kids were relatively unpopular at that time, it was even before "god's menu". I think there was influence of JYP to let SKZ to make OSTs for the anime. However "Top" has become so popular, that it is still charting on Japanses charts - the longest charting foreign single in Japanese history. "Slump" is my most favourite song of any singer of all time.

theres a lot of comparison between felix and hyunjin as gojo and geto (visually) haha slump first take so dope it goes to show that there is no filler member in skz, their tone is distinct and complement one another.

Totally agreed, Leeknow knows English. He’s one of the smartest members in the group. For whatever reason he doesn’t speak English much, it’s all up to him.

Oh yes, Lee Know and Chan are underrestimated a lot when it comes to singing. The same goes for V in BTS. People expect JK or Sungmin in SKZ to be vocally perfect and on the top all the time, while the other vocalists are underrated and some are shocked that they can sing live. But luckily the longer someone is in the fandom the more they start appreciate all members(hopefully).

Totally agree with you on Lee Knows and Chans vocals. Unpopular opinion, Chan has the best vocals out of Skz. 👌🏻 Along with Seungmin and Han.

I think Chan and Lee Know are often underestimated because Chan has few lines nowadays (his parts in earlier songs were bigger) and Lee Know was bad at singing during debut times and he was unstable live in previous years, however he has become so much better in the last years. I wouldn't call them vocal gods though. If comparing them to the main vocalists of the groups from SM entertainment (those are the best in kpop), they are pretty human, however they are good vocalists indeed.

unfortunately lino is not fluent cuz hes practically given up on english. but i think hes better than he thinks he is. i think the next best person at english than han felix chan and seungmin, is probably hyunjin cuz hes studying english in online college
