💯 agreed. I didn't waste my time seeing Tenet in cinema. I made the effort for No Time To Die and enjoyed it to an almost empty screening. This felt like the old days. Packed, scintillated audience, genuine big screen action, 90% reality not 100% CG, a human story - and absolutely riveted throughout. I went back the day after and relived it all again. I hope it does extremely huge numbers as it was the best cinema experience I can remember having this century.

100%. I made that mistake with Pirates of the Caribbean - went "nah I don't like pirate movies" and didn't watch it until many years after they were released... And greatly regretted it. This time I went "No. I will watch it at least once." And it's the best movie I've seen in quite a few years. I'm struggling to think of the last movie I enjoyed this much.

I don’t know what it was about this movie, but it touched on so many emotions. Joy, sorrow, humor, pride…Thrilled they were able to touch on numerous themes from the original film and not be dowdy. Maybe it was seeing the original in the theater and many more on cable with my mom who has passed on or my absolute infatuation with aviation, but I am grateful for all who were involved with this film. Tom Cruise absolutely deserves to be recognized for his work in this film. While I didn’t become a fighter pilot like I had dreamed, I did manage to become a private pilot. Thank you Mav and Ice for the inspiration all those years ago. 🙂

Tom pays his own way to flying his own fighter plane (yeah he doesn’t own a jet but he CAN fly one, not the F/A-18 but decommissioned ones that he rents) he is an expert helicopter pilot, he is very good looking, very rich in his own business doing EXACTLY what he wants to do… I mean come on! He is better than 99.9% of us! I’m okay with admitting that at this point in my life! I say that as a man who has been in combat, who is training to be a professional pilot… I would gladly trade my life for his right now. I don’t believe in Scientology, but if my life had worked out as perfectly as this guys had when so few peoples lives do work out the way they would want them to… most of us spend decades doing drudgery we can barely stand with the hope of one tenth the adventure and happiness this guy gets to live on a regular basis.

No nudity, no sex, no blood, no violence and I think maybe a couple curse words but mostly a great film with a great message of love of family, love of country. Don't recommend supporting this movie because it is a JOKE to release it during this time in our nation when O'Biden and his Demoncrats are destroying our military from the inside out! Biden has allowed Transgenderism to occur in the Military with us paying for it, taught our military Critical Race Theory and now he wants a "Thought Police" agency developed to screen our Military Men/Women for loyalty to Democrat values ONLY! Presently, our military couldn't fight their way out of a wet paper bag, so whose this movie fooling? This Original movie came out in 1986 when Pres. Reagan was Commander and Chief and morale for our Military was skyrocketing because they were a force that was fearless and could stomp anyone. Now, our Military can't pay anyone to join to meet their recruiting goals. Hollyweird should have been smarter and released this in 2024 when the real "hope and change" comes when President Trump is at the helm again to rebuild our military that is presently in taters! Pray that Russia and China don't take advantage of our weak state of readiness thanks to our traitorous Democrats that would sell out their mother, because they are nothing but snowflakes!

The fact this film held my son’s attention, who’s only 6 and is a HUGE Jurassic Park/World fan, not once, but *twice* in the theater speaks VOLUMES to how amazing the entire film is. I love that the storyline is simple & not all over the place. Top Gun has always been a favorite film of mine, along with Tombstone and The Labyrinth! So the cast is a dream come true, newcomers (to Top Gun) included! I was born in 1986 & *HOPED* my kids would love the 1st movie so we could go together to see the sequel. My daughter (14) loved it, my son was on board and now we’ve purchased it and have watched it 2 more times this week!
