@@officialrealistyoutube as I watched this showed more and more it slowly but surely became clear that is the case XD after a while of seeing them sabotage each other's vehicles you realize there's absolutely no way they would be so dumb as to not make sure their cars aren't messed around with

Yeah but he was actually trying to drag race. So he probably was just pulling off at the start, then realising it took off

This is probably my single favourite moment and all of top gear. (You could have warned me.)

They need to stage this race again on GT, but this time they need to add a typical American workers vehicle. Maybe an old ford Farmtruck?

You know this transit was actually a jaguar project? Not a DIY thing it's an actual known thing for development of the xj220

​@@awesomefan935 Nope, Jaguar got rid of the van after testing for the XJ220 was done. It was abandoned and then rediscovered and restored by someone. The van is still around but is now owned by Don Law Racing, who specialise in old Jaguar's and XJ220's.

By the time this episode was aired, it was already in the ownership of Don Law Racing, a firm specialising in XJ220s. As rickman noted, they found and restored it once Jag got rid of it. It is still under DLR's ownership to this day; the owner does actually use it as a van lol.
