Great video. From a personal experience, I don't find myself bloating when I consume certified organic or organic local raw fruits or vegetables. Anytime I consume foods that are processed whether it be small portions, the bloating is almost immediate. I believe the bloating is in part due to the body's reaction to synthetic chemicals producing more intestinal mucus and mucus within the body (nasal cavity).

Thanks so much for this video. Super informative. I've always had problems with veggies like broccoli, cauliflower, cabbage, etc....as I always end up doubled over with abdomen pain, & bloating. This had made me avoid alot of these veggies. I have recently been eating fermented foods, such as kraut & kimchi, to see how I would go with these. Mind you, I was scared & sceptical, thinking that I would just be bloated & in pain as per usual. Surprisingly, my tummy likes these foods in this way, & I am slowly seeing a difference in the way my system eliminates. Along with upping my water intact daily, fermented foods have helped me alot.

Cream of tartar contains potassium bicarbonate, which is extremely alkaline, to the point that it will render stomach acid too high a PH to function. I know this because i was supplementing with it, and i stopped digesting food. It was so bad that i had to drink apple cider vinegar ( has a PH of approx 3.0 ) in order to start digesting food again, after days of wondering what was going on. I recommend updating or removing this recommendation. Potassium bitartrate ( cream of tartar ) is used in the wine industry to increase PH because it is the most powerful substance to do it. Your stomach acid needs to be at 2-3 PH.

Thomas, can you look into the differences between Soluble Corn Fiber and Iso-Malto Oligosaccharides (tapioca starch and the like) and make a video about it? Personally, my gut biome reacts differently to each. I am aware of the research that show IMOs spike insulin levels at 30 minutes after consumption vs. SCF which does not, but my body seems to react better with IMOs rather than SCF. For me, SCF causes severe gastric abnormalities as well as bloating, diarrhea, and weight gain.

I think the solution “salt” may help both facial and stomach bloating. If lack of Stomach acid is the factor...Salt chloride is a precursor to stomach acid mentioned by Thomas in other vids...this it will change the fermentation timing. Also it will probably alter motility rate.

+Bcake Just my observation. Generally it seems that when the kidneys are overloaded the body keeps water to help with metabolizing. One time I ate a dinner of fresh fish and my right upper lid bloated so much in was in my vision. That might have been a case of food poisoning, though. I hear some people have easier/harder time metabolizing alcohol.

@bardsamok9221 This is the case in livestock to some extent too. For instance, crushing or rolling grains are more nutritious than whole, since the animal doesnt have to break them down themselves (if at all, whole grains tend to pass all the way through), and thats just a mechanical change, imagine what a fire would do.

a friend once told me that bloating is caused by restrictive diets; our body's bacterial fauna, flora and enzymes is maintained by a delicate equilibrium. When we go on extreme restrictive diets, some of the good bacteria that was helping us digest sugars starve and die. Soo now that the delicate equilibrium in our body has been disrupted we develop digestive issues such as bloating. Do you think that this is true?

I'm so grate I found this yesterday! I found out that I had always been dehydrated - that's the reason why I always woke up seeming a little puffy frog 🐸😂 But last night, before sleep, I drank a lot of water. And in the night I woke up thirsty, I drank again ... I mean, it's very hot now in Italy 😁 This morning I had a very "normal" face. No swelling. My skin is brighter. Now I'm keep on drinking, even if I constantly need to pee ... 🤣 I'm feeling better!!! Thank you so much!!! 💖

The part of your video that gave it away was when you talked about unopposed salt requires other minerals to balance it out. Truth is, you are more right than you know.
