Do the truck outlets continue to supply power to a cooler when the truck is off?

What is the point of putting your tent in the back of the truck? What if you need the truck for something like going down to the boat launch or the collect wood?

THANK GOD FOR THIS CHANNEL! I literally just bought a 2015 EcoBoost last week to the day, and next month I am going to Montana for Early season elk. My buddy is my "guide" because he lives there, and has been scouting, ect. However for the whole week, we are camping out of our trucks. He has a 17 F-150 and I am new to truck camping. So I'm definitely going to be looking for quite a few of these things, if not all of them for my truck. Everything is sold on your website right? Thanks guys!

The one thing i notice is that even though he mentioned the vents, they are a little small for warm weather camping. My warm weather tent is almost entirely mesh all the way to about 6” above the ground. If I use a tent that looks like this, ill be pretty warm through the night.

Notice how he didn't mention the price of the cooler. I bought a used cooler for $5, added some insulation and ice will last for several days now.

Great video! I plan on getting an F150 soon. What color is that STX? It looks awesome!

I’m really digging the lead f150 setup with the lift and wheels. That combo makes the stx look sexy.

Truck tents are the best. I actually prefer the floorless type shown in this video. The tailgate pong seems like a ridiculous accessory though lol

7:21 can you put the lid down from the bed with the basket in place? or does the basket hit the lid?

yeah, I have to agree here. I've been using air matresses for years. But then bought a bunk-cot set for the kids. Cots work better as they don't keep a pocket of cold air under you all night. Now I have to find a full sized cot for the wife and I!

@@nowakjim We have F-150 screw w/short bed, Napier truck bed tent, Coleman "Ridgeline" cots fit perfectly with about 8in between them. They are comfortable and convenient. The space underneath is for storage and the dog to sleep.

I have the Napier sports full size truck tent that is a lot nicer than that Ridgeline and the Napier sportz link which attaches to the tent and comes down to the ground giving you an extra little private area and the air mattress in this video sucks I have the airbedz pro 3 and it has wheel well cut outs and makes the most out of the truck bed and doesn't leave that gap for it to slide around like the one in this video

Nope! Factory paint, I believe the shade is Slate Gray but I may be wrong there. Definitely looks green from the trees and grass though! -Zach

Igloo or Coleman makes iceless coolers for about 150. I used one when I was driving OTR as a fridge. Ran off 12V, it was great.

Get the air mattress that goes over the wheel wells. It's pretty much a full size queen, plenty of room for the gf and dog
