I just randomly stumbled on a video for this game and suddenly I wanted to play this. So here we are!

So I played Starbound for years. On and off. I love the Frackin' Universe mod. So I never got Terraria thinking it was just the same game but stuck on one planet. I was wrong though. I bought Necesse and couldn't really get into it. Then I finally bought Terraria which prompted me to give Necesse another shot. I think I needed to play Terraria first to respect Necesse. What finally got me to buy Terraria was the player count. Today is June 20th, 2024 and Terraria has averaged nearly 30k players for a month while Stabound is a fraction of that at barely over 1k.

Should add that weapon speed scroll to the hammer? This is amazing I can't wait to see what else you can do and what else the developers will add in the future :) Great video as always.

Im still waiting to see someone try to take the railroad out of the mine n use them on the surface for something.

I don't have a let's play or wtv but one of my settlements have an industrial theme with a lot of farms and the minecarts used as transportation

2:27 _There is no wiki for the game._ There is one now. It is still missing tons of stuff but the basics are there such as a mini progression guide.

I've had a bookmark to a wiki pretty much since I started playing this game, and that was WAY before this video came out!

Yeh, but meh, too much effort to give.

Its like terraria, minecraft, link to the past, rimworld, and dwarf fortress are in a polycule and designed a child together.

Can u do a Lets Play Necesse with the new update cuz i think its harder..

Brutal difficulty is a good challenge. No need to pretend you have only played a few hours previously when you have clearly completed a prior play through. That was just silly to say.

This is my first playthrough. I do a lot of blind playthroughs on the hardest difficulty on this channel. Skills can transfer between games, in this case, I'm applying a lot of Terraria knowledge since this is basically top-down Terraria.

I've seen a LOT of people who do stuff similar to what you're saying! It IS annoying as hell! It's worse when the person continually tries to "prove" they are doing what others say they aren't actually doing!

Yeah. 3:00 is NOT great evidence for his claim of never playing before! That is NOT something one would assume carries over from other games nor is it a common thing in survival games! Minecraft doesn't have anything like that, closet thing is putting them in offhand and placing with right click(I THINK it's right click, it's muscle memory now so I don't know for sure lol).

@@JacksonOwex R is literally a key binding, something that every game has. I don't know what it is with the Necesse community, but your game is nothing special, especially at this early stage of the game's development. I literally called it "Top-down Terraria" and played it as such. You should play other games and other genres, and expand your own perspective instead of accusing other people of doing things we do in other games.

Why come here 9 months after this video went up to accuse someone of pretending to play for the first time? What makes you think that he "clearly completed a prior play through"? It should be obvious from how he's trying to figure things out and his reactions throughout the series that this is his first time.

2:28 I've had a bookmark to a wiki basically since I started playing the game, and that was DEFINITELY before this video was published! For someone who sounds so young it's bad to say that you don't know how to do basic internet searches. That IS what you did you here, it was basically that stupid "tell us without telling us" meme crap that was all over a couple years ago!

Having a bookmark is not the same as doing a search. When the wiki has minimal content and nobody links to it, search engine crawlers will rank it very low. Maybe instead of calling someone stupid over something you clearly don't understand, how about learning how search engines rank pages? I did a google search for it back then, it didn't show up, but I wasn't gonna go through 10 pages of search results to find it. It shows up on the first page of results if you do the search today because it has a lot more content and more sites are linking to it.

You obviously don't know the difference between a BOOKMARK and a SEARCH. I did a google search for the wiki back then and it didn't appear so I thought it didn't exist. You had a bookmark that took you directly to the wiki so you would have never done a google search to know this. Many things sound stupid to you when you don't know any better yourself.

The insane stutter makes it really hard to watch.

You could just NOT show you creating the world then no one will know your seed! 🤯🤯🤯🤯🤯🤯🤯
