I never heard of a shoe drive fundraiser, so I guess I've been under a rock!

It is very tricky. Our church doesn't do coffee. Our hall is so run down that we cannot invite guests. The church is small and half the people help and half don't. We are going to try a brick a brack sale /arts and craft and raffel baskets.

I coordinated a shoe drive for the church with Funds2Orgs. The leaders gave me motivation with suggestions for the members of the church. Funds2Orgs leader; Nicole listened to the reasons I was experiencing with the members who always had a reason why they didn't go out of their shell to seek new and old donors. I had no money to invest in the fundraisers. Partnering with Funds2Orgs no money was needed and we did not have to ask the people for money for the pastor's cause. We just needed to go out into the world and ask for the people's new or used shoes in good condition. I added Funds2Orgs to my bucket list if I ever get to the east side of the United States of America. I appreciate the videos they offer us. "Compassionate Camping" sounds like an educational fundraiser. I enjoyed "Barefoot Sunday". My one and only time I was barefooted in church. It was like celebrating a birthday watching members piling up their donated shoes in the sanctuary.

God Bless you Brother myself paul from india I have a small ministry by that i used to support poor children who have no money to take good education and by that they are very away from the Way Truth and the Life so pray for my ministry .

Because our context is very different; I have to be truthful that the above are excellent ideas for church fundraising, but they are not very helpful in third world Christians.
