I don't even know how Emily is still here...she is the worst cook that's still on the show...what Jamie did was noble but I wouldn't have done it

It's not like Jamie tried to make a bad dish. He was lucky that moment came when he had immunity. No shame in that.

oh please, please, please get rid of Emily. She whines and has sooooo many excuses. She's a horrible chef, but keeps skinning by! Grrrrrrrr

Nicholas Elmi could learn a thing or 2 from Jamie, he was willing to Forfeit his Immunity, whereas back in Season 11 during that French/Spanish Tasting Challenge, Nicholas Dishes put his Team on the Bottom and even Jacques Pepin asked him if he would give up his Immunity and he didn't. So instead they eliminated Stephanie Cmar and the Judges thought that her Dishes were Amazing, I still don't think that Nicholas is a man of Honor & Integrity

There’s a reason immunities exist though.. the whole reason is to be safe when your dish is is not in the top or is in the middle of the pack. Offering up your immunity is a cocky move. To me I see it as there’s no way I’m going home so I’ll give it up.

i couldn't respect nick anymore after he decided to not give up his immunity despite being the downfall of his team. however, in this context, jamie was wrong to give up his immunity. sure, he made a bad dish, but his was not the only reason his team lost.

So Jamie got eliminated? Who offers up their immunity? It happened on survivor boom eliminated

Emily should have gone fancy throwing her team member under the bus so she could stay .The judging was poor on this Emily out🦘🐨🦘🐨

Not so bold when he tooted his own horn afterwards when he stated "other chefs would not give up immunity" sounds a bit self-congratulatory

I like Jamie but his "Integrity" logic is stupid. If this was about integrity then he should have taken the best ingredients for his own dish and made the best dish, even with immunity. Instead he chooses the "I'm a nice guy" route. Foolish.

No way. I will forever respect Jamie for making this decision. This moment is immortalized to this day for fans of the show. He has every chef's respect.

@@thecomicsarereal I totally agree. Top Chef isn't a typical reality show, where you've wasted your time if you don't win the big prize. . If a chef shows him/her self to have skills, integrity, and kindness, they can launch an entire career after finishing #8 in the season. For example: it was fun watching Johnny Fairplay cheat his way to the top of Survivor, but I would never risk eating anything that guy gave me.
