Top 9 Electric Scooters on Sale in the USA: Best Commuter Money Can Buy?

Автокөліктер мен көлік құралдары

Although the modern transportation industry has already provided us with various means of getting around and has enabled us to travel with unseen-before speeds and comfort, this industry continues to evolve in order to become even better, smarter and more efficient. Latest innovations are there to help us get vehicles that cost less to purchase, have lower running costs or even work on alternative energy (thus producing no emissions in operation).
Zero emission powertrains featured in all-electric vehicles (EV) belong to the list of the newest innovations that manufacturers all over the world are actively applying to their products. It seems that everyone already has the access to this technology but manufacturers seem to apply it differently all over the world. While companies from the USA and North America seem to be mainly producing all-electric cars and SUVs, engineers in Europe, India and Asian countries pay more attention to making all-electric scooters, motorcycles and bicycles. And it makes perfect sense, since two wheeled transport is regularly used for commuting and short distance travel in large cities. Here are some of the latest news that show how many EV technology is used internationally: • Electric motorcycles, ...
So are people in the United States are missing the point and should look more into choosing electric scooters or motorbikes as their main commuters? Of course, those, who live in suburban areas won't be able to pick a two-wheeled vehicle over a car or an SUV, but what about those, who live in cities or areas with high population density? Modern e-scooters are almost silent, have powerful electric motors capable of zippy acceleration, are equipped with next generation batteries that either support fast charging or could be removed and charged overnight at home. With such list of specifications, Americans should at least give them a try and there is no reason why they shouldn't be at least as popular as ebikes and other types of EVs.
Even though many are judging by the vehicle sales numbers and assume that massive pickup trucks are the only desirable vehicles on the North American market, but our viewers, on the other hand, have defied this stereotype by requesting a video that would review all-electric sit-down scooters specifically sold in this land of giants. In order to deliver on the promise, here we would like to tell you all about the lineup of e-scoots imported to or manufactured in the US as of 2020. Here you will find a brief overview of what every model has to offer, as well as the main product information every consumer needs before getting one of these.

After deliberatly checking out about anything, i'd say the new Niu Nqi Gts sport comes the closest to reliable electric scooters. It's the bestseller worldwide with rave reviews, depending on what you need it for. This was a great and very helpful video. Unbiased. Offers may vary in the US or Europe, but for 80% it's the same market and price. The Vespa is hugely overpriced. You pay for the brand. Check out Cezeta, from the Cjeck Republic, it's wicked and wild! 🇧🇪❤🇵🇷👍

I appreciate both your pointing out, and manufacturers showing practicalities of the scooters. Too often reviews show a scooter or bike, and the idea seems to be these only are to carry one person around! If these are to become more widely used, sidecars, saddlebags, and features to allow some ability to use these, mostly expensive, scooters as real world transportation ideas need to be highlighted and shown off.

Quiet , no smell and a delight to ride. Next year 2023 here in Holland you cannot buy a scooter/moped anymore with a petrol driven engine. Fine by me. Looked at other european models like vespa, but after watching videos and reading reviews the price quality of niu won the day.

I like these vids ands subscribed. The NES 10 seems like it checks all the boxes. A real commuter vehicle will need highway capability. 30 mph vehicles would be considered NEVs, neighborhood only. I need to cruise at 50 mph for around town or get run over. 50 mi of real range is sufficient for daily driving. I want a 50 mph 50 mile range EV, preferably with LFP battery that is removeable/ swappable. The option for a canopy (solar panel) would be a plus. I would really like a small 4 wheel motorbike with enclosed cabin. I have seen several that I like, but few that meet the 50 mph/ 50 mile range under $10,000/

I'm not surprised that GenZe folded. The bike had a fatal flaw that was obvious to anyone (except evidently) to the design team. The seat was both too high and too wide, so that reach to the ground was much too far. That would be no problem for tall people (think LA Lakers or Chicago Bulls) but normal people would just not be comfortable unless they had extensive motorcycle experience. I have that experience, and could have made it work, but still it was major design blunder. But their target market, according to the promo material, was college women. Other than that, it was a good and very practical bike (great cargo space), with good power up to the governed maximum speed. I rode one at an early demo, and told the marketing manager exactly why the bike would not sell.

All the manufacturers still missing the mark, if you want to sell them, you need to aim them at two wheeled enthusiasts. And actually make them usable for the real world. I'm a fifteen minute ride from London, and the top spec 54 is the only usable one. The rest are redundant unless you are that way inclined for local inner-city runs. No learners will come to them, against price. They need to be comparible with 125cc, and not the derived 125s with struggle to 55mph, the 125s that push 70mph and higher, not 50cc. Look how small the 50cc market is anyway. Tiny margins, tiny appeal. Big impracticalities. And some a big price tag.

Nope they aren't. They are just not appealing to anybody that likes to ride two wheels. The top spec 54, equates to a highly tuned 50cc. A 4v liquid cooled 125cc can crack 70mph and is twice as fun.

I love my NIU electric for doing stuff in the neighborhood. I have already bought a 650cc so that I can tour, but I still use my little NIU for everything close by, and that is 90% of what I do.

I like the styling of the $1400 and $1600 dollar scooters. However 1 problem with electric bikes of any kind is they can't be heard and, i perceive, more dangerous than gas powered mopeds. Informative video though.

I'm disappointed I figured the technology would have gotten much better longer range or even faster for the price. While they look fun I'll just stick with my $8,999 2014 nissan leaf. Maybe when single phase batteries become mainstream it will he more doable. Fyi I've gone 88mph (can go higher) I've pushed over 100 mile range as well. I was hoping to save on miles but I'll just have to wait.

That second scooter goes 200mph? Is that what the video said? I hope it's not peddle assist at 200mph with the placement of those goofy looking peddles you'd look hilarious. I like the electric scooter idea but who in there right mind would pay what some of these are selling for? Over $5000 to ride maybe 30 miles one way then have to recharge to get back home. You could buy Honda PCX150 and ride 100 miles plus on one gallon of gas.
