    As a power forward, McHale's in my top five He was virtually unguardable in the low post. When Kevin Garnett came into the league, he worked out with Kevin McHale, and credits McHale for his success. Especially with his footwork. If McHale did not break his foot in 1987, they woulda beat the Lakers and Bird, Parish, Ainge, and McHale would have won four chips together rather than three. First ballot Hall Of Fame player.

    He was almost impossible to guard 1v1.....they doubled him nearly every time he touched the ball

    He was the most productive pf I ever saw. He used to eat other forwards and centers alive and was a reliable scoring machine for the Celtics. Barkley talks about how bad it was trying to guard him.

    For me, he’s just outside the top 5, maybe around 7th all time. He is in the Bob Pettit/Chris Webber tier of very good but not excellent power forwards
