The GT Fiero still had 140hp and look good, but they caught fire a LOT

@@TopG800 it certainly ain’t fast but I agree. It was a looker and is a nice car. Imagine a modern V6(or even a turbo 4 though I rather the V6 sound). I will say a v8 from a fiero sounds a bit off.

@@imjoeking_ I thought about that same thing, I didn’t realize the blower would fit but even N/A that would be a fun fiero. I agree it shoulda came with the 3.8 stock.

My Toyota Paseo is a car everybody looks after. If only they knew it has 90 horses. There is a Brabus version of the Roadster that has the same engine but 101 PS.

Also the Toyota Celica T23, the GT has 143 HP, handles like a Dream but its kinda slow😂

5:16 That Viper actually crashed on a mountain turn that was allegedly cursed and fortunately landed on it's wheels with the driver being completely fine as well as the car just being copiously filthy.

The miata was never meant to go fast in a straight line but it'll beat faster cars in corners without a problem. Same with many minis.

Yep. I have a 2010 Mini Cooper s and while it is quick in a straight line it can’t keep up with wrx’s etc. But when it comes to cornering it just smashes them.

There is also the Brabus Roadster with 100 hp. Still slow if you're focused in a 0 to 60 but very fun on twisty roads! The gearbox is the slowest part and it feels better with the paddle shifts than with the gear lever.

when you think about it, a drag race between a ride-on lawnmower and a Berkeley would be kinda interesting

The Roadster had a model tuned by Brabus which fixed a lot of the named issues 😉

Likewise 300ZX Z32. Looks like it'd be fast as hell but because it weighs the same as some station wagons and has measly hrsprs around 122, (N/A), it's not. At all. Still love the styling though, one if the most gorgeous machines ever created imo

still the 63 sedans, cabrios, and coupes are still pretty sick, although I must say AWD has caused them to lose the tireshredder status a bit even though they can have drift modes.

Well, the SSR isn't meant to be sporty, it is retrostyle pickup which meant to be fun to drive, a cruiser kind of similar to the old alfa romeo spider and the last generation ford thunderbird

I had a Mondial Cabriolet, it was pretty slow but it should would attract admirers at the gas station.

Exactly, that's why people bought the crap out of the Beatle's and the Miata's because they were fun cars. The insurance was affordable compared to a Corvette, Mustang, Camaro or Porsche.

My 1978 Chevy Chevette was so slow that you could use a sundial to clock it from O to 60, but I don't think I ever went past 55 miles per hour in it. Chevy later put out one that had a diesel engine made by Isuzu, and a mechanic who drove one said that it was THE slowest car he had ever driven!

You forgot to mention the '82 Pontiac Firebird/Trans Am, only able to push 165 hp through a 3 speed automatic and do 0-60 in about 8-9 seconds.

i have a HKS tuned Smart Roadster. initially a 80 hp model, it now makes 300 hp. me and a tuning team made a custom 1.0 liter inline 3 engine and fitted a HKS turbo kit. i also made a fiberglass body kit and all. sports seats, everything. that thing is crazy fast, 0-100 kmh is around 4 seconds

Saw an absolute pristine Porsche 914 yesterday in Munich. Not a fast car, but its so beautiful

I hade a Fiat X1/9 from 1982, 85 HK.... But it was fun to drive :D

I own an Ferrari Mondial T convertible. 300 HP is enough for this car, fun to drive and a great sound. Nothing to complain from my side.

Well there is plenty slow sport cars from history, like Toyota 800 sport or Honda S500, S600, S800 but still i would love to drive them more than many fast cars. That English sport car got my attention, cool looking car and really light 😄

Another good thing to add to miatas are that they come relatively cheap. The lowest can go for around 2000$, and the highest go for about 20k. Plus, it has great modding support thanks to a small, fuel efficient, reliable engine that can handle only slightly less abuse than a honda civic. NOICE

Putting a CLA in the sports car category is crazy, it's like putting a focus here just because there's a Focus RS Especially since besides the amg the CLA is basically a clio

In the UK the Miata is called a MX-5. Mine is a 1.8 Jasper Conran edition with a BRP MP62 supercharger. Now it's fast.

i dont think the body of the car would be hard enough to withstand triple rotors torgue. the body would need to be seriously reinforced to not collapse from bending forces in the turns.

The first time i saw gen 7 celica i was thinking it has a 300HP in line 6 or V6 under the hood Rear wheel drive but when i pop the hood i find out it was my grandma's corolla 😅

my dad used to have a w124 coupe v6 it was amazing he would take it 180 or 190KM easly

I knew the last 3 immediately 🤣

I’m surprised the regular cla doesn’t come with steelies, black plastic features, halogen headlights, manual seats, etc.

Fun fact the miata is the highest selling sports car ever. Also Mazda even used lighter bolts on everything to save weight. Had they had more power imagine how many more they would have sold.

The miata may only have a 2L engine but everything is balanced which is what the manufacturers want and why its so good. It handles extremely well although not as fast as its rivals but its lightweight too.

How about Daihatsu coupen Renault Wind Plymouth prowler?

miatas got good acceleration tho with small mods, specifically egr delete, intake, exhaust, and a tune aftert installing

The King Cobra had a 302, but it only had a 2 bbl carb---now that's sad. Honorable mention; 2000-2005 non-GTS Toyota Celica. It looked fast just standing still, but with only 140 hp and practically zero off-the-line torque, it was a real dog
