the f-22 is a better jet than the f-35, although the f-35 is more advanced. The f-22 was meant to be an air superiority fighter while the f-35 was meant to be a mass produced multirole fighter.

Depends i guess. The video title is misleading as it doesn't compare the jets solely as air to air fighters. F22 is king of air to air but f35 has a lot of advantages over it now. If i had to pick one and only one as my new jet in an air force it would be the f35 due to the fact that its still very good as a fighter but it can tackle a lot of other jobs as well as having a pretty large advantage in other areas. Luckily the USAF has the luxury of both.

Ф-35 не может стать истребителем для завоевания господства в воздухе с такими слабыми своими параметрами по аэродинамике, как скорость полета, манёвренность, малозаметность с ЭОП (средней эффективной отражающей поверхностью равной 0,3 квадратных метра, сказки с рекламных роликов фирмы Локхид - Мартин оставьте себе) и так далее...И вообще Ф-35 - не истребитель 5-го поколения, согласно требований к самолётам 5-го поколения: 1. Отсутствует крейсерская сверхзвуковая скорость на всем протяжении полета ( крейсерская скорость на участке полета не берется к рассмотрению). 2.Малая тяговооружённость Ф-35, а отсюда и манёвренность и так далее... Системы ПВО России легко обнаруживают Ф-35 в свободном пространстве Учите матчасть, прежде чем такое писать в комментариях!

Wish they could update or modify the ramps/intake on the F-15 like they did the Super Hornet. And/or it's frame was large enough to house two F135 engines. That would be absolutely insane! Lovin the F-35, particularly the C model. Its one size fits all platform is aging like fine wine! Contrary to what all the naysayers say about it.

I like the Russian Su 57 the most and Russian driving is better than America.
As a Filipino I dream that someday Philippines well have atleast 3 squadron F-15 EX strike eagle 5 squadrons of F-16 V block 70 72 and 3 squadrons F-35 lightning ll.

US will place it's newer version F-15 EX on Philippines, and F-18 Super Hornet will be way better than F-16 V.

The f-16 falcon and F-15 Eagles are the only ones that resemble their names. It could just be but the F16 from the front view looks just like a falcon.

@@Ola4family Yes it would... Because it has over 20 years off advancements on them both. But the F-22 is still unproven in real combat while the 15 and 16 have the best combat records in the history off aviation.

From a former airline pilot...what a difference in engine power between military fighters and airliners. With my CRJ, above FL250?...... I had to get out and push to continue the climb :) Well under 1000 FPM/Feet per minute climb at flight levels.

OMG the F22 is a badass aircraft. I have always been and will remain a fan of the F14 but the F22 has maneuverabilities that are incredibly superior.

The lilitary is kinda bad, so is the law enforcement, but the fire departement does deserve a medal.
The F-16 has probably seen more combat than all off them combined and it only got a short bit off talking about.... Even tough it has over 80 air to air combat kills, its a 9 G puller and can sustain very high G also one off the fastest outside the F-15..It is the most produced and when he was waffling on about the YF-17... He failed to mension why the YF-17 failed to make the grade... Because the YF-16 kicked its hole basically... 😄

F !5 has seen lots of combat too 104 kills vs 76 of the F 16, and has never been downed. Best bird ever.

@@diegoapalategui579 Turkish F-16s have taken its kill ratio above 80...it WAS 76... F-15 is a mighty bird no doubt. But in a knife range dogfight the F-16 would make pure shit off it.

@@265justy An F 15 would not enter into a low speed close dog fight with an F16...it would use its speed, altitude and thrust power to fight in its domain. And in case it did then the pilot, missiles, radar and avionics would play a bigger role than the superior agility of the F16. MIg 29 is even more agile than F16 and every time fought with the Eagle was shot down.

@@diegoapalategui579 Its untrue about the Mig-29s. German and Indian Migs have gotten kills in exercises on F-15s. You can be tactical in any plane to exploit your opponents weak points. F-16s get kills on F-15s on a daily basis in Red Flag exercises. And also the other way round. They do use both as aggressors you know and it's never all one sided. What Im basicly saying is the F-16s superior agility/ manoverability give it the edge in a dogfight over the F-15. I could say the same about a Gripen, Typhoon or Rafale which would also be very manoverable. You get picture.. The days off the invincible F-15 are over and remember the 104 kills the F-15 had acchived was largely due to superior support off AWACS in Iraq and the Balklands.... which BTW was a conflict the F-16 also got kills on the Mig-29.

The F15 part is wrong but the Navy does have F16s, they provide red air for the hornet boys to train for BFMs.

Two things, might I ask why the A-10 didn't make the cut? Sure it's a ground support plane, but supporting ground troops and the fact that the A-10 is powered by jet engines makes it a fighter jet, also might I request a video titled 10 vehicles the US Military should never retire, staring with a few of my favorites, AH-1Z, A-10, F-15EX Strike Eagle, Stryker M112* variants, the DDG-51 and CG-47, and my personal favorite which should never have been retired the PT 109, 305 and 658.

It’s ground support aircraft like u said.the A-10 could carry aim 9s for self defence but there’s really no capabilities for air to air missions. Hence it does not go into the category of fighters, fighters mean it could participate in aerial warfare, and the a 10 isn’t exactly a dog fighting aircraft.

A-10 isn't a fighter jet because it has minimal air combat capabilities. It would lose to even 3rd-gen fighters in air combat.

@@Raq Yeah but throughout the history some weapons have been used for tasks they hadn't been designed for and have proven themselves to be effective. If the A-10 could be used effectively for air combat there would no reason why it couldn't be considered a fighter. But of course it can't and IMO that's ultimately why it's not a fighter, not just because it wasn't designed as one.
The problem with the f 35 is that it's stealth coat gets mold and it is not stealthy anymore.

The F-15 pilot had glasses. I thought a fighter pilot was supposed to have 20-20 vision.
The fact that they explicitly said FIGHTER Jets, and put F-35 above F-22, sad.
I promise you that these are not our top aerial vehicles though. So many black project unmanned secret craft we do not know about.
What happened to Stealth Fighter F117 which was shot down in Kosovo? Not in the list.

All the planes mentioned are currently in service. The F-14 retired from the US military in 2006.
What about the F-14 ? And it seems like the F-22 is dominant, why did we need the F-35?
All 7 are great at their roles. Americans don’t trust bad equipment. Shoot at one if you want… it’s the best way to get the whole damn dragon to look and move your way. I’m not gonna tell you how to live your life, but when mean green don’t like you. Right and wrong no longer matters. Your just one signature away from death.

Y23 the best fighter jet us never had f22 tested with y23 the decision was f22 few million more than f22 y23 scored higher in all tests Y23 A all-round better the final decision was when the y23 it was absolutely Stealth as soon as it left the runway it was no longer on radar F 22 was not stealth enough I mean y23 completely and no longer on radar f22 was
