About number 3, when I did an internship at Disneyland Paris I worked in Adventureland and arrived a half-hour before the ride I worked at opened. The music was on, and it was such an amazing feeling hearing it without all the crowd noises. The magic still happens even when you take part in making it ✨

They do "yell" at guests in their own way. If a CM looks at you with a plastered-on smile & tells you to "Have a MAGICAL Day", that's often code for either the CM not being in the best of moods due to rowdy guests making their jobs harder or you as a guest yourself broke Disney's unwritten yet obvious code of conduct guidelines.

I remember hearing someone at WDW saying that you could injure yourself on Florida's Space Mountain by putting your hands in the air at certain points in the coaster because the scaffolding is so close to the trackt. But, that's not true because every ride at Disney is designed with a "cushion of protection"- a certain amount of space so that riders can't touch things outside of their vehicle. That's why the seats on that coaster have you slouch so far into the car frame- it's preventing you from reaching above far enough. *The More You Know*

Ranky64 Entertainment Since it's not a fast paced coaster, maybe the rule isn't as important for that attraction since you can't really hurt yourself on a tree prop unless you're going really fast. Hey! I'm a big fan, and fairly new cast member at WDW. Keep doing what you do. The big vacuum system is very loud from the utilidoors and gives me a small heart attack every time it starts up and hurls trash. Another fun fact is that when it happens or when they're moving machinery through the tunnels, they play the music from Wall-E and you can hear "Waaaaalllllleeee" and "Eeeevvvvaa", during the process, just to let cast members know to steer clear during that process. Loved the video. This is not a Disney myth, but rather a Universal one though it might be true for Disney too. I work at one of the many simulators and have heard plenty of guests say that we never clean our 3D glasses. This is so not true. We have giant machine rooms where we clean glasses after each use. We have to make sure that the temperature on the machine is just right so that the glasses are cleaned correctly. Also, our performers in the parks are real people, not animatronics. That’s a weird one I’ve been getting lately.

No, a Cast Member at a park will take the injured person to the nearest First Aid station, which will NOT be in the UtiliDoors, but on the street or sidewalk of a park area to get you cleaned up, treated, and bandaged. I've tripped over many things many times in the parks, whether the object was a queue stantion, a low curb, a kid's somebody's stroller, or some other object, sometimes in Epcot, other times in Hollywood, and both times the Cast Members took me to that station to get treated.

My mom and my dad snuck in with him all the time to get free access to the park, and they told stories about the tunnels. They said it had a more depressing mood than above, and you could tell most of the cast members just put on a total facade. Nonetheless, they said it was super cool.

In regards to the debunked myth of sounds playing all night, I have to tell you, I used to work the Honey I Shrunk the Kids Playground Adventure at Hollywood Studios. One of our biggest reliefs at the end of the day for us (we closed earlier than other attractions) was to press the button for the sound effects. Once the sounds were off it was like I could hear my thoughts again. As one of my fellow cast members put it, "I understand why managers and coordinators don't come in to Honey. It's a war zone and they don't want to get hit."

He had to actually prove that his real name was Mickey. (My brother as well is a Chip and he had to jump through hoops to get that instead of his given name (whcih was charles) Now if they work in Disney Reservations, they are given a "stage" name and no 2 people have the same name.

Some people (before the internet) thought the Ballroom ghosts in the Haunted Mansion were "holographic projections"! I worked at a very large engineering company in the 80's and had an argument with one of the engineers there that swore Disney was using holographic projections to do the ballroom ghosts. I had been a performing stage magician from age 8 (I was great at designing illusions but a bad performer so I moved on to other things in my adult years) thus I knew the real secret. But as I was just a machinist and he was an engineer he felt my "pepper's ghost" explanation was interesting but still wrong.

Former MK CM here--The tunnels themselves are so ugly, but they have placards with descriptions (that I personally hadn't heard before) when you're entering a new land and have a color-coded stripe on the wall. One of the things that made late night shifts at party parades worth it was waiting in the tunnels to clock out and watching the performers go by--Tink talking to Snow White, a Hitchhiking Ghost giving us a wave, a pirate stopping to chat or taking the black gunk out of his mouth. Truly a once in a lifetime experience. The Walt Disney HM bust always bugs me, but I earned brownie points with my trainer when I was "earning my ears" for knowing that bit of trivia.

8:10 I could imagine that after the park closes for a day, all of the characters I can imagine like the rocketships from Space Mountain including Rocket from the Little Einsteins, It's a Small World children, Carousel horses, and others all head to bed in unknown parts of Disney parks to awaken another day of the happiest place on earth. Another fact I can imagine is that if there's a problem at night like a rocketship having insomnia again, magical medical problem, or other, I believe a third shift cast members will take care of them.

Cinderella Castle 189', Spaceship Earth 180' Expedition Everest 189' all suspiciously just shy of 20 stories. Florida's building code would require an red aircraft warning light atop such a structure. This would indeed spoil the Disney Magic. Back in the 80's Hugh Downs of 20/20 did a 3rd shift segment on Disneyland. The went through Pirates, with sound "winding down" went through the animatronics. Other techs were polishing brass on carousel & the tea cups & checking for burnt out light bulbs on Main Street . Lots of work to keep up the "magic"
