Top 6 Things To Do In Charlottesville, VA!
Looking for the top things to do in Charlottesville, Virginia? In this video we take you to some of the top local attractions as we explore Charlottesville, VA in January 2021.
We start our tour of Charlottesville with a visit to the historic Downtown Mall where we enjoy coffee at Grit Coffee and Mudhouse Coffee shops. We continue our tour with a trip to the University of Virginia and then on to Thomas Jefferson's beautiful home, Monticello, a historic building in Charlottesville, VA.
If you enjoy the outdoors and hiking, this beautiful town has you covered. Of course, Shenandoah National Park and the Blue Ridge Mountains are just a short drive away, but closer to town there are lots of great hiking options. We share some of our favorite Charlottesville hikes which include Ivy Creek Natural Area, Ragged Mountain, and the beautiful Crabtree Falls.
To wrap up our list of top things to do in Charlottesville, we visit Blue Mountain Brewery and Carter Mountain Orchard.

I’m currently a student at UVA, and I love Charlottesville! You definitely covered the highlights. I would like to add that there is a swimming hole called Sugar Hollow that is a preceded by a moderate 2.5 mile hike. 10/10 recommend visiting Cville

Stay away from the College of Liberal Arts and you should be fine. Also, stay clear of any areas which say "Cultural Appreciation Center" cuz Whitey ain't allowed.

It is worth a visit, especially if you enjoy hiking as it is very close to Shenandoah National Park.

I'm from Charlottesville, it's 100% worth the visit. Absolutely beautiful town.
Moving here in July from being in FL since I was 4.. nearly cried seeing the waterfalls. I’m not an outdoorsy person but I would kill to see that in person. I cant wait 🥺

Charlottesville actually has closer to 100,000 residents. Your assessment only counts the residents within the city limits, while Charlottesville definitely spills into Albemarle County.
