Since settling in San Antonio, Texas, in 2005, we have hardly ever not been planning a trip somewhere, whether it’s an hour up the road to the Texas Hill Country or across the Atlantic Ocean to visit Jay’s family in England. We have always been drawn to the excitement and perspective that travel gives us.

Especially considering the "super hero" themed cabin I stayed in when i was away recently. To actually wake up in the woods in a setting that gets you thinking of some of Thoreau's thoughts! Priceless! Again, I'm reminded that I live only a few hours from the "real replica!"😁All these years. No excuse! (But alas, I,m afraid that they won't let me sleep at Walden Pond.)

Do you need a car to visit and get around? I don’t drive and play to visit via the ferry. Once im on the cape - how can I get around if I don’t have a car.

all the characters and they went with tiana? ffs it's only since they changed splash mountain they use her everywhere, honestly so many better characters to choose from or really just keep it to the fab five, thank god im not a morning person so i wont have to see this when i visit, disney has honestly just made me get real annoyed with that character

It is hot in the summer and less crowded. During the winter, it is beautiful but more crowded.

We went to Anna Maria Island 🏝 love it. Love this beach. Get here early. It fills up early. Food, restrooms, and market are great . You may see a manatee swimming we happened to see one. Went in the first week of June . Very hot 🔥

@@wherenexttravel yes ma'am, we were just there over the weekend with my sister who was visiting. There are also musical street performers, Love it there. If you ever get a chance, go there for the Christmas tree lighting, usually the first week on Dec, it's magical.
Sarasota Florida is a very nice community with great beaches and scenery.

For an Airbnb, where is the tiny kitchen and Bathroom?? Got to have those things.
It’s a replica of the cabin Henry Thoreau built in the 1800s. No electricity and no running water. The family that built it open up their home (100 yards from the cabin) for showers, food, toilets etc. I stayed there for 7 nights and cooked some meals over the fire. For most, a one or two night experience is best to experience how life would have been back then.
