If you have been hunting for a while, you would learn a great deal. One of the tough lessons you learned is that you should not have parted with a gun or two. This is even more painful when you realize that the manufacturer has stopped producing your favorite guns, often without any announcement.
In many cases, guns just go away because they do not sell well enough. Just because a gun works well for you does not mean it will work for the next person. Without enough sales, there is no reason to continue production. Besides, consumer tastes evolve over time. This is evident by the fact that finding a gun with a classic walnut stock is a lot harder than getting a synthetic one.
