I gotta say, Seeing someone heavily tattooed make such great gardening videos is a breath of fresh air. I feel I can connect with you because of this more than I normally can to gardening videos. Maybe it doesn't make sense but it's just how I feel. Thanks for your videos!

Didn’t know sunflowers inhibit the growth of veggie plants if planted together. I’ll keep an eye out on my squash plant now. And I can’t wait to grow borage next. Thanks Alexander!

Hello, no worries! I’m happy you liked the video your squash should be fine but if you plant there any seed, it will be hard to grow it. Borage it’s an incredible plant :)

@@greensage395 sunflower have allelopathy properties which inhibit the growth of surrounding plants. It’s a defensive mechanism to protect their growing space. They are sprout inhibitors!

Fantastic video, as always! Really great information. I started growing 5 years ago with basically 0 gardening knowledge. Trial and error was my way until this winter where I've spent so many hours learning. It's great to know that I've been planting the right stuff in my garden! Though I only thought about the bees, it is amazing to see so many other uses. I grow marigold, nasturtium and sunflowers in my garden.

Love the garden, brother. The depth of green in these plants is impressive.

I watch all of the spicy moustache videos and I have to say this is probabky the best video on the channel. But only few views compared to the others. 9000 views and most of them are me coming back lol

I honestly didn’t realise you could eat the borage😁, I’ll leave them for the bee’s and natural pollinators, Always brings me a smile when I see them collecting 😁

How about comfrey and hyssop? I heard they are great for bees?
