I disagree with Olivia’s answer as one of the “best answers”. She was asked what she regretted doing. She starts off by saying “what I regretted most...” then ended by saying “but I dont regret it”. So she technically contradicted herself. Furthermore, she talked about picking on her siblings which really was not a strong answer based on how she delivered it. Philippines, Brazil, and Australia had better answers. Philippines that year had the best answer. It’s been years, but this edition will always make pageant followers question the validity of this edition.

What do you mean by too rehearse? Is it because she is quick to answer? I think it is the way she answers not rehearsed. Besides the contestants do not know what questions they gonna get. So how can you say it is rehearsed? Janine answered the question genuinely and realistically. It's like giving a extemporaneous speech with little preparation. Janine is very intelligent and smart contestant.

I agree about sushmita sen although to me the answer I loved the most out of all I have seen is miss Canada; miss universe 2005 Honestly the answers before this top three procedure were better as they were impromptu but now the contestants already know the top three final question from what other contestants claim; true or false I don't know but if true doesn't hold creativity to me they have enough time to rehearse. The top five question in my opinion is what is meant to hold more substance. And Pia's answer might not make my top 10 favorite answers but one of the winners from Philippines will. The lady who was asked what she would do with a man from the moon or something like that can't really remember but I remember her answer and i loved it. My most underrated 1st runner up answer who I would have loved to win is miss India 1995 I loved her answer more than the winner; the late Chelsi Smith, miss USA and miss universe 1995 may her soul rest in peace. Her answer was equally beautiful but lacked originality, it was the same answer she gave at her local pageant. Miss India's answer was heartfelt and sadly women around the world still struggle with it along with Chelsi's answer. Miss Canada's answer was also nice but India stood out for me. It would have been a well deserved back to back win for India.
