You’re so sweet - it’s a lot easier to answer when it’s not a real panel of judges 😅 but every person has her own style and way of speaking that the judges want to see... let them fall in love with *you*

First of all, let me congratulate you on your many achievements. Miss California and Miss America runner-up are majestic achievements. I recently stumbled upon your channel.I love it. However, I believe that many people love your channel for the tips and tricks you share. Not only women but men as well. I myself am a former title-holder of Mister Youth World Indonesia 2018. Perhaps, specialized episode for male pageants would be awesome. Not many channels do that! Regards!

thank you so much! i’ve always wanted to do pageants, it was the hugest dream of mine that i never tried bc i thought it was impossible. and i still kind of think that, my mom has 7 kids and barley any money 💀 my parents have so much to pay for. we are also moving soon, (in nov) and the pageant i want to sign up for nationals are in summer 2023, which means that not a lot of time to prepare. i also know nothing about pageants, well i do know a lot from social media but no real experience. plus i think my parents would laugh if i told them i wanted to do pageants, they just wouldn’t expect it. i have all my dream pageant dresses, hairstyles, heels, and hairstyles reedy. i’ve been trying to work on my conversation skills. i’ve been working on my walk. i now brush and floss my teeth 4+ times a day, i’ve been learning dance and flexibility. so yes i am trying, but that’s not going to get me nowhere tbh. the only way i can actually make my dream come true is lotsss of money, and even then idk if it would work out, but money is my biggest hope. if anyone wants to help you can donate at least $1,

How do you handle a judges question that is controversial to your past. Say it is something frowned upon that you regret you did. Especially if it is something that could come back on you as a title holder?

Good question. It depends on how public it is and how much it could be a liability to the image of the organization as a whole. If it’s something you have to get out ahead of, I’d say you stick to your story (honest or otherwise is besides the points. Facts matter less than perception. You want to formulate a consistent story and stay with it.) Is there a particular issue in your past that you’re speaking of? (You can be asking for a friend 😉) I can elaborate more depending on how controversial the topic is.

I’d personally answer that question in a way that hinges on scientific data to back up lower transmission rates with increased mask-wearing. I’d also talk about how a vaccine and here immunity will help us come back to a new normal. But I was a biology major in college so that’s my gut instinct - to go back to the facts and data :)

It seems like y’all go through a lot to be the best but I don’t really hear anything about what y’all get out of all this other than a title and maybe money? This is such an open ended question…there are many ways to go about it. But I personally would answer with something about investing it (property, stock market, funding companies, etc) so that in ten years I’ll have 2 million ;) As for where to travel, I would say Mars…so I know whether to invest in Elon Musk 😂

I think I'm in love with you. I have such a question. Is there something you are missing or something you had but you lost it and now you miss it? I thought for a long time about what I miss and I need and I think that I finally discovered it. I'm not sure but I feel in my heart that I could have a love relationship but only a relationship with the girl. I love girls the most and I think that's what I miss. I've been dreaming a lot about my dream girl. She is super postive and cute and so lovly and she needs someone who can protect her and love her and here I am. I've dreamed about her lots of times and If I had a relationship, it would be just this. I would like to protect my girlfriend from the threat as soon as it comes but I would also like make her happy, have a romantic bath together, dinner, shower, shopping. We are happy and smiling girls but when something bad happens, I want to protect her and then maybe I would propose to her on the beach at sunset and then get married. This is so sweet, I love the vision you’ve created and thought out for yourself. Visualization is super important in ✨manifesting✨ your dreams. I wants had a pageant coach told me to turn all about what it felt every time I want to patch it… The feeling of the lights on my face, the smell of hairspray and dust onstage, the sound of audience applause, and my friends and family cheering with their paper cut-out posters in the far balcony... I think the same techniques can be applied in manifesting your soulmate too. Have you read the book The Secret? It was pretty popular a few years back and that is the central corner of the book. To make room in your life for the things that you want, and to expect it. All human beings deserve happiness and as you grow and have new experiences, trust what you like and who you like. You are also never alone so I’m sure there is a girl out there who is dreaming of you… Now you just have to find her 🔍🔎🔍🔎 For me, I have been undergoing a lot of change in my 20s. Earlier even just a few years ago, I was struggling with needing a lot of external validation and I definitely did not have the confidence and self awareness that I do now to even consider starting a KZread channel. One thing I struggled with in particular was the youth-worshipping culture perpetuated by pageants and mainstream society. When the Miss America program tells you that at 24, you are officially old to be considered the ideal American woman, it really made me fear getting older and aging. But then I hit 25 and it occurred to me that I was not going to let an organization’s rules dictate my self-image. Therefore slowly, combined with life maturity and experiences, I began to let go of the fear that I was losing my youth and started moving into a mode of prioritizing myself and what I saw in myself v what others saw in me. It was really hard at first because I naturally have a performer personality (I’m a classic Leo ♌️ ha!) and I am a total people-pleaser at my core. It led to a lot of emotional roller coasters because one second I was as high as a kite on positive comments left by Internet strangers, and the next moment a mean troll would have me in absolute tears. But I started asking really important questions: How do I build a life around love for others, love for myself, and that brings me fulfillment and joy so that I can be a mirror of those values every waking day of my life? What do I need to do before I have children, if I have children, that makes me feel like a whole human being so that I can be the best mother possible? What gifts have I been given that I ought to share with others? How can I best serve and help people? Who even are these people and how do I reach them, with asking nothing in return? But I feel so liberated now being away from the inner pageant world through COVID. I miss the people and the events of course, but it has forced me to reflect on what I need to do to sleep well at night, on a grander scheme :)
