Tristan Burgess You can confirm into it easily at kill percents, the issue is for how easy it can be to avoid the raw attack, it's u justifiably weak. Some characters can kill at 20 with their confirms while hers kills at like 50.

when ur changing characters in an arena and the ppl in the ring start before u finish selecting when ur on quickplay/elite and u see a third and/or fourth person at the bottom when u get your opponent's degenerate ruleset with items, FS meter, and morray towers when u join an arena and items r on when your opponent is banjo when your opponent sweats with fox when your opponent uses your character with the alt u use also

Why are one of the main features of the game a problem? I get sick of people saying items are terrible. Smash itself was made to be a casual party fighter. It was part of the community that decided to make the game competitive. There will always be people who just try to play the game and enjoy it. Just cause you don't play like them doesn't mean you have to complain about it.

Such a relatable list I’m pretty sure I agree with everything on here, they should not be making us pay for online. Also for 31. Waiting Room Items, if you click start before you get an opponent in the waiting room, two options will come up. One to set cpu amount/movement and one to leave the battle but it’s hidden and inconvenient since the next battle loads too quick sometimes and then you can’t even back out. Great job Nintendo!

Another annoying thing: the main theme is used way too much. The opening screen has it, the loading screen has it, the main screen has it, the world of light map has it, the classic mode and world of light winning theme and losing theme is it.

Additionally, the Mii Fighters use it as their victory theme too. It's really unfortunate that it's so overused, because it's a legitimately good song in its base, main menu version, but after the 100th time of hearing that bloody "COLOURS WEAVE-" in that Godforsaken intro...never again, please.

The reason why many games are argued to have great sound tracks is the main theme is used very little and other music is used that is more beloved. An example of this is Mario galaxy which almost has unique music for every main galaxy and the main theme is only used in the menu, the final cutscene, and in the library.

Luigi at least CAN be fun if you aren't clinching too hard on the 0-to-death. I actually hate grapple-at-edge more because it doesn't require practiced muscle memory and is boring to look at.

4:14 Actually, You can just buffer airdodge AND up b at the same time so you tech if you need to and up b if u dont since the game takes special move buffers higher than airdodge buffers :3

You can actually randomize your preferred stages on arena mode, a lot of people don't seem to take advantage of that feature tho lol

GandW is a little annoying, but after you learn the matchup playing him feels the same as playing against any other high tier: hard but doable if you purely play better than your opponent

Came here rewatching tons of Hopcat vids and #50 hit extra hard now

Rematching usually promotes them to be toxic for getting back at you after you win a match against someone, that's why the majority don't do it, even the "good" players mostly don't

Pikachu's Dair always hitting, even when your sheild is up

Just know that for the problem 22, you can actually cancel this with option select, where you buffer airdoge and up b at the same time, you'll always do the right option, and now you won't be mad anymore.

Not trying to start an argument, but spirit adventure mode made me so angry. Everything from the way you have to navigate the world to how repetitive and uninspired the whole thing was. Bring back subspace!!

yeah. and idk if i’m just dumb and blind but when there were certain things you had to unlock with a certain spirit, you didn’t know where to get the spirit. you would just play the game until the option came up telling you that you could unlock it. coulda been useful in my opinion to know atleast what spirit i needed

Not to mention it takes a while to complete it took me 25 hours and with the fact that it’s so repetitive it’s the most boring thing on the planet I only beat world of light to be able to change the menu theme I have to admit the final hour of it was really fun though

The Subspace Emissary wasn't even that good but I'll still take it over every other games' adventure modes.

2:50 I think you should be able to swap characters inbetween battles, however if you win after swapping against the same opponent you shouldn't gain GSP if you win, and they shouldn't lose any, but if they win they do gain GSP. If both players swap, it goes to normal

@@julianx2rl Everyone has their own tastes and thats good. But it just annoys me that so many people (especially competitive players) just completely shit on "low tiers" because they dont like them. Most of the low tiers are extremely fun and unique and i love most of them for it. But yeah i know they arent for everyone. Especially Corrin.

Joker is something else. People always talk shit about how hero’s broken, and rightfully so. But I have a grudge against joker, probably because my friend who mains him just slams down B whether Arsen exists or not.

0:26 What makes me mad is that they nerfed k rool down throw, but left untouched every other move that buries. Also Zelda neutral B lasts even after the animation is done and that's crazy.

I’m 19 seconds into the video and I already agree, they need to just bring back for glory and get rid of this GSP thing, with for glory you had nothing to lose

4:36 probably that zelda mashed their controller to pieces. That was an over 100% bury, and as you can see she got out but got f smashed

World of Light makes me irrationally angry as well. Legendary reveal trailer with a cool cutscene...and that's one of only 4 cutscenes and the only one where any characters interact. Why is one of the cutscenes just Galeem and Dharkon falling into some water? How is that interesting compared to seeing our childhood heroes interact? Seriously I feel so misled by what the 'adventure mode' as supposed to be. Fighting the same characters over and over again with slight cookie cutter variations is just boring, the characters might as well be cardboard cutouts as they don't interact! I don't want to be the 'Subspace Emissary was better' guy but...it was. Lots of cutscenes showing how all our favourite characters interact and platformer levels with interesting geometry that doesn't repeat with the odd character battle here and there. It was great! Even the 'Fire Emblem' or 'Kid Icarus Uprising' style of dialogue with character portrait cut ins and textboxes would've been really interesting and a decent substitute for cutscenes. How cool would it have been to see Captain Falcon and Cloud interact? Or Samus and Pikachu again? World of Light was a world of lame for me.

Pretty sure the reason SSE didn't come back was because of cutscene leaking on KZread. Sakurai probably didn't want to make another story mode that would be spoiled to hell and back for people that couldn't play the game.

I remember back in Brawl I loved playing Ivysaur. Now I want to ragequit at the sight of it.

Finally someone said something about Online, i play sometimes but not only i almost never can play quickplay but also i move so late that is impossible to get to elite smash

@@Porygo I would disagree with joker. You need to be able to master his movement to be able to recover and approach since his range is pretty average without arsene. If you can't tether cancel/gun back to stage from a wall jump then you can get gimped super easy. Not to mention that you have to be able to consistently combo the majority of jokers aerials into dragdown up air for consistent kills with/without arsene

Am I the only one here who actually LIKES the way the Belmonts were handled in Smash Ultimate? I think they’re really fun to play and all of their moves were represented well. I was so excited when I saw the announcement for them and I wasn’t disappointed when I finally did play them.

That’s exactly the gimmick of Mii fighters tho, they are supposed to be a wild card. It makes you think.

@@AverageHandle_ GSP should be based on how well you play your character against your opponents and win:lose ratio rather than just wins and losses. Moreover, GSP shouldn't be able to make you lose most of your earned GSP just because someone spammed the A button or B button with dash attacks and tether grabs

It makes me sad because that's the reason K Rool got nerfed even if he wasn't that good. It was combination of spammers and bitchy people complaining that he was "Too good".

Or when you want to play a ffa, and it sticks you in a freaking 1v1 with the most sweaty, toxic players imaginable. Seriously, it can’t be that hard to separate ffa’s and 1v1’s in to different queues!

When you said characters that take a lot of time in training mode because of tech skill and you didn’t take out Lucas, man Lucas might be the most difficult character to master his Zair double jump cancel is extremely hard to do multiple times in a row

Great video. Ya forgot maiming Mii swordfighter as something to hate, cause boy howdy I hate maining that garbage character as much as you hate fighting them

dont forget how some parts of the music tabs have a text at the bottom of the screen, saying listen to music while you fight, they added a music function in a fighting GAME not a music app for the switch, yet you can barely choose what music is playing in the ACTUAL game. While you can select specific tracks for maps, you have to pick one for each map SPECIFICALLY, not in general for all stages, and im not gonna knock all the music from each game i havent played, but specifically from that stages game, this goes without saying for a statement about random stage selection.

@@qwerty7407 but ignoring recent events I think they should acknowledge it exists. One of the reasons smash is great is because you can play it however you want.

50 things to take your anger out other than quarantine. That's how I read this title. And it's probably duel belmonts or k rool and ridley team battles in online mode.

I feel you forgot a few things. Example! 51. People who run items on 52. Getting punished for communication errors 53. PK Freeze 54. Ryu/Ken/Terry turnaround mechanic 55. People who run short timers 56. People who run one stock 57. Classic bosses 58. People who run Stamina 59. “Lucky” Players (the ones that spam stuff and work. Or hit an instant 9 as G&W) 60. THE PAULINE SPIRIT! Not that I’m disagreeing. Good video and very true in some instances. Most.

You say not to take this too seriously but it really needs to be. This brings up great points and things that need to be fixed.
