The Jonestown tapes are the saddest recordings I have ever heard. So many babies and children were lost. Many people did not want to die and were forced to drink the cyanide or were injected. Just horrible!

..some were shot, too, and cyanide isn’t a quick death. The post-massacre footage is some of the most horrific images ever recorded. Some seasoned investigators said the aftermath was worse than war. Cult leaders that see death as some kind of sacrificial reward, will always use that as a mechanism of escape, when exposed. It’s pretty terrifying.

The first time he was closing his car door (a 68 Chevy Camaro) and the only thing that happened was he got a bloody nose and his eyes had those red burst blood vessels and he had a migraine for a week. The second time he got blown about 150 feet out of his shoes (which melted to the asphalt), broke his wrists and ankles, was bleeding from every orifice as ell as under his finger and toenails and his eyes. The Japanese Exchange student's photo was actually not her "trying to be closer to the falls" She was suicidal and she was there to kill herself. It's obvious even from her body language in the photo. It's the look of defeat and acceptance. IIRC she was very depressed and felt ostracized due to the fact that she was one of the only Japanese people in her school and unfortunately Japanese culture has a lot of views on mental illness as "suck it up and supress it"

I don't think you should have added O.J. Simpson and Roscoe "Fatty" Arbuckle to your list of "Celebrities who faced justice." The title implies that all the celebrities that you listed were guilty of horrible crimes for which they finally "faced justice." But, in reality, O.J. Simpson was ACQUITTED of the murders of his wife, Nicole Brown Simpson, and her friend, Ron Goldman, so technically, Simpson didn't "face justice." "Fatty" Arbuckle, the famous silent film comic, was accused of raping and killing Virginia Rappe, who was supposedly an aspiring actress, but he insisted that he was completely innocent, that the young lady's death was the result of a sickness. Unfortunately, the press blew the whole affair out of proportion, depicting Arbuckle as an evil brute who had crushed his "victim" with his massive weight, and/or sodomized her with a broken liquor bottle. After three trials, the attorney for the defendant presented evidence suggesting that the accused was the target of a blackmailing plot that somehow went wrong, and that Virginia Rappe was, in fact, in ill health at the time of her demise, which seemed to collaborate Arbuckle's story that he was not responsible for her death, because she died from her sickness. It took the jury only two minutes for them to find the defendant "not guilty" of all charges. Afterwards, the foreman of the jury read a statement in court saying that acquittal was "not enough for Mr. Arbuckle," and that "a terrible injustice" had been done to him. But, like O.J. Simpson, Arbuckle, in spite of being acquitted, was still looked upon as a cold-blooded murderer, and was thus an outcast from all society. He died a broken man over a decade after his trial.

@@michaelpalmieri7335I've watched some documentaries and read some articles about the Fatty Arbuckle case. It is a shame that over a century later some people still think he is a monster. He was a victim of an extortion attempt that ruined his name. He would have been better off if he was mostly forgotten by everyone other than Hollywood historians. Which probably what would've happened if not for the criminal accusations.

The guy, who shocks me the most is Rodney Alcalar! On YT are videos, in which you can see the excerpt from the show "The dating Game" with him. There is a scene in which he's making unbelieveable weird sounds, which left me speechless and horrified...😳 Don't miss it.....! 👍🏻😃 It is highly recommended..... 😉 Greetings from Germany....🙋🏻‍♀️

The film of Rodney IS very weird and odd, but it is very normal for that show. I was young when the show was on air but it was edgy for it's time. I think there was an idea in 1970s show, especially game shows, to see what they could get away with saying. Lots and lots of "sexy" shows.

Not to ruin the fun vibrator story but the person who first published that story about how they were invented to treat hysteria made the whole thing up and the only sources she cited were well, herself. More recent research shows they were indeed invented by victorian doctors, however they were meant to treat several ailments primarily among men, and the only sex-related use of them medically speaking was for male impotence. Much less entertaining a story but still pretty important to debunk misinformation

The scariest thing about rodney alcala is the thousands of photos of unknown young women and even boys too. If some estimate he killed over 130 people, then he could be responsible for so many missing/murdered women of the 1970s. Or jane does.😢 They need to test his 🧬 on any cold cases from that time. I would bet with money a lot of the women in the pictures that haven't been identified were sadly victims of his horrible crimes. He was truly a monster.

The Elizabeth Bourassa ( sp? ) case is so messed up, because whoever that woman is that walked right up to Elizabeth, said something to her and then shot her, is still at large and out there somewhere. It looks like a woman, and it looks like an older woman. The footage that was caught isn't too clear, but it appears to be a middle aged woman who is not wearing a brassiere, and who is wearing white go-go boots for some reason. Did she purposefully dress up in this outfit to shoot Elizabeth? I would like to see her caught, which is why I am going on about it. I hate that she is free and still walking around. Just from what I saw on the footage, definitely a woman and not a man dressed as one to pull off the crime. A middle aged woman and likely someone that Elizabeth knows or knew and has had contact with before. Maybe even a former classmate or more likely, another woman that also likes to dress up in period costumes, as Elizabeth and her husband also did. The murderer should really just do everyone a favour and come forward and confess. If she has any courage or even a conscience, she will.

The creepiest part is me watching this best of cruelty competition, obviously being entertained. Followed by the circumstance, that there's a growing industry of making money, by presenting such horror casually, culminating in a fake curiosity about the audiences no1 hounting. And 3 place goes to the mechanism of people being drawn to such ugly media content subconsciously. I find, that the victims shown in such episodes should be paid for their pain brought up again.
