    I'm sorry to hear that this happened to you bro. Thank you for sharing the lessons learned, it shows a lot of compassion. I was just served a TRO for harassment by a girl I was casually dating. She's knows that I'm moving to NY in a week for a new career and she's trying to ruin me. I can't believe what we go through in life. Thanks again and I hope all is well

    Thanks for watching. My purpose for this channel is to use my real life experiences to help as much people as possible. I will admit reliving these moments are challenging, but if it means helping people, than it's all worth it. My advice to you is to remain calm, stand on your truths, and trust the process. What matters is the end result. It's unfair that you have to deal with this, but this experience is a true character builder. Good luck with your case and keep me posted.

    It’s crazy how one (man) would think, “dang I bet I’m the only one that has a girl lying about me” but dang there’s way more men out there that this happens to. Great video brother. I have a hearing coming up and I can’t even believe my ears about this. Just like you said in your video. I paid all the bills as well and the home. While she’s there now and I’m sleeping in my car tonight. I started coming up with my game plan and researching to make sure I’m all prepared. I’ve done printed out all my evidence, pictures, screen shots, and will summarize everything to make it super easy for the judge to read with cover sheets on all exhibits. I will now be adding pictures of memories of who I am to the kids, what important part I play in their lives and thanks to you I’m going to also add my game plan with the kids and how important it is to continue being a part of their everyday life. I’m switching the tables on this one cuz I’m going for full 100% custody. All her lies will be backed up with time stamped dated evidence showing different, plus I have even more dirt on the accuser whom thought she wiped my phone out clean so I wouldn’t have any dirt on them. But guess what, gotta thank that iCloud:) amen!! Sorry you went through this, but after my case, I’ll come back and let y’all know how it went. And I should also do like you and share some knowledge with a video on what I went though and how to get ready for this battle that men “GOOD MEN” honest, sincere true men do not and should not have to go through.

    This is good advice . I just got one served on me at work yesterday . It’s for calling her out of her name and using text apps when she had blocked me . Yet she had me at her home the night before she filed on me and only did so because we go into an argument. I stayed at her home and bed a week before that also and she invited me down to the park to see my son 3 days ago . The only time I ever called her out of her name is in retaliation when she would call me all kinds of horrible names first and I have all of the messages .

    Brother, I got good news! Since my ex filed a TRO, a lawyer I couldn't retain advised me to go file A PETITION IN RECONVENTION at the court house, have it NOTORIZED, CLERKED-IN, and submitted to the judge to grant my RELIEFS. This simply means I counter sued my ex and put a TRO on her as well. Got to court today without a lawyer, her lawyer approached me and we agreed on withdrawing our petitions. Went into the court and the judge granted us DISMISSAL. NOW, we just need to go to mediation to put a custody and Visitation order in place. Win-Win brother. Thank you for EVERYTHING!

    @@geedaytamesthecharts9093 Once Mediation is ordered, child support will be a definite. The court will make sure the children are taken care of. You're only obligated to pay the ordered amount, and in some cases, if you're a responsible parent, you're paying much more, when providing for your child. The only way child support could could be terminated, is if you both come to a mutual agreement, that child support isn't necessary. I always considered filling a restraining order against the girls who spread rumors about me in high school. I never was in a relationship with any of them (or at all) and seriously was depressed since I never texted them or have any documentation they were spreading rumors about me that I knew (and they) would affect my relationships (they were popular). being a man sucks because I doubt a judge would grant a order to protect me , an unfit man against a pretty girl . those times were a long time ago and it's in the past but we were all playing a game who could file a restraining order against each other first . I couldn't lose since a restraining order would make me inedible to possess a firearm and disqualify me from military. maybe it was in all our heads since the only interaction I ever had was shaking their hand in class.

    I did in court yesterday. Even know I'm just now seeing this today. My case is different. The mother tried killing the baby. Litterally picked up my mew born daughter by her leg. Holding her up side down with a knife in her hand right in front of her own mother/the grandmother. They didn't lock her up. Just a few days in the hospital. I went to get a restraining order they granted it for 1 year. Then the grandmother went to go get one on me. The judge thur hers out for lack of evidence. A month later the granny has a lawyer. I was told my court date was moved. So on March 10th the grand mother and her lawyer showed up for Court. My court date that was moved was between me and the BM. Not the granny. So her lawyer got her approved for a restraining order against me for 3 years. Apon protective services recommendations can I get monitored visits. I pulled her records. She has had the cops called on her a lot by the grandmother that defending her after sge tried killing the baby. Man its a long story. But I'm trying to find a lawyer that can put my words on paper in away that will let them hear me. Cause they rejected my letter to have the protection order thrown out. U get 14 days to submit in writing if u didnt attend court. Smh

    Can a RO lead to more? Like, what I’m being accused of on the RO paperwork, can that turn into actual charges? I’m actually not opposed to agreeing with the RO against me, I don’t wanna see this person ever again anyways, but I don’t want to have it turn into more just because I comply with it. What I’m being accused of isn’t even that bad, but I’m working towards a career where an extensive background check will be done, and I can’t have anything against me.

  • @Cb22075

    @Cb22075

    I only know what Ive learned from my own experience as an actual domestic violence survivor who needed an RO for actual real safety but (and im in CA, idk how areas differ) when I filed my request for a "temporary protective order" it had nothing to do w any criminal charges. That would've been a completely seperate process and I would've had to call the police, report that he did some crime against me, assault, etc, then say I desire to press charges and have him arrested and tried for that charge. Those two things are fully different, seperate processes and records. I actually did both for my situation and they never crossed paths actually. Now, both actions (RO or pressing criminal charges) can be in reaction to the same incident like being assaulted, for instance, but they are still seperate legal actions and the girl would have to pursue them seperately. When I filed my RO request, its not like anyone asked me "do u want to press charges for what he did?" Thats a totally seperate thing, she'd have to go thru the police dept and make a police report. But maybe u should fight the RO if ur future job might see it in a background check.

    The history between the two parties matter. If there has been documented cases against you, this tends to work against you in court. The ruling judge won't take the case seriously unless you are in clear and present danger. It's hard to sway the judge once there mind is made up. My advice is to seek legal representation when things get this complicated. You need to get your case forward to another judge.

    I sympathize wholeheartedly with you. I could imagine the mental toll this has taken on you and your child. Continuing without a lawyer is not as tough as it may seem, in a restraining order hearing. The judge wants to hear from the two parties, to get a better judgment of character. Having a lawyer doesn't gaurentee you victory, especially, for fathers. In your case, focus on the facts. The courts must honor factual evidence. If you can, get a character witness. Throughout the entire hearing, remain as calm as possible. You're gonna hear something's that's going to upset you. Your facts are what's gonna determine your fate. Read through all the details and statements. Learn your case inside out. When it's time for you to face the judge, you will be confident in presenting your case. Not having a lawyer is a blessing if you allow it to be. If you know you've done nothing wrong, then things will work out for you. Praying for you brother!🙏🏾
