Your observations are identical to mine. One thing I like to add here: Flexibility of all joints is utmost important. Stiffness is the enemy of all physical endeavors. I learned tai chi, yoga and chi gung when I was young. So ping pong is no big deal. I still play at age 81 and am a member of a club.

something u might wanna add to the list on improving faster is ,,watch the ball" it seems like super obvious for alot of players but for alot of them it doesnt from my experience. learn to watch the ball UNTIL it makes contact with ur bat and then switch vision to what ur opponent is doing and so on. pretty simple but this will make u a much better player!

KickAssBln Its not so easy...I always try to watch the ball but I lose my concentration on the ball at the time of hitting and I concentrate on the stroke. So I miss the chance to hit the ball often. I don't know how will I fix this😥

However, do NOT watch the ball while your opponent is getting ready to serve! Watch your opponents racket. And how your opponent contacts the ball with the racket. Once the ball is struck by the service technique then start watching the ball. But you'll still have to watch what the opponent is doing with the racket. So watch the ball and the opponents racket while they are striking the ball.

Very good video !!! congratulations on it...it was the best table tennis tips in a decade or even more for me. I always believed in this "feeling" training, but here in Brazil people dont use that tecnique. When i train with my trainer i say "now ill train my ping pong skills" that means i want to focus on the natural feeling of hiting the ball and not makeing mistakes on passing the ball, so the focus is to "pass the ball" and not to "do the point". When i do this, sometimes i make points with her that apears with a professional game, and i love it...those are the best table tennis moments to me.

And now I would like to upgrade to new blades with rubbers. I would like to have more feelings and conroles of the ball. I saw several videos of your suggestions. I preferred Butterfly Viscaria and rubbers FH - tenergy 05 BH - tenergy 64 Or 80 I understand that it is really complicated to suggest something without seeing the game, but I would ask you what you would recommend upgrading my equipment? Hey man im starting to play competative table tennis in my local federation.I know most of the basic except the knows you show me so thank you im ganna apply all of these tactics next time I train so I can perfect. Now 1 thing I don't get is the racket thing I saw youre video on the chinese philosophy and it open my eyes to so many things that have never saw for example the artificial hit ain't strong as the natural hit that comes from you boby , where I live we focused on the racket and rubber to create the speed and spin and most of the people over here they have rackets with the grip being longer than that of there hand and you recommended Stiga. My question is:"What racket and rubbers do you recommend from Stiga?, keep in mind that my level is going up and a important part is the gear (I think).Thank You for youre vids and the time you put into them for people to get better in TT.

You should start out something slow and more control for you to unleash your power without worry about hitting off the table. The faster your hit, the faster your game will be in. It will give you less time to recover to be ready for next shot. You want to constantly attacking on every shot to make your opponent stay in defense.

【☯】ɈẨƇƘ【♞】 Hi Jack.. sometimes it depends on personal preferences. I am using H8 on my FH TB ZLC and Viscaria, and H350 on my FH TB ALC. H 8 has a bit softer top layer and sponge, it is not too tacky compared to H3Neo. Feels good, spin easier. H8 is too soft if I use it on my Off TB ALC. H8 needs Off + blades or stiff blade like my Viscaria or ZLC.

Great video. I have some questions if you can help, or anyone in the chat, i would be really greateful. Ive been playing TT for just over 8 months now and started playing competitivly at a low level. Ive gone form knowing nothing about TT, to being the current most successful in my team this season... so far... so i feel like im improving well. I apply these coaching tips and am continuing to learn tacitcally as well as technically but know nothing about equipment. I use a very very basic bat, costing less than £30 for the blade and rubbers and wondering if i really need to upgrade the equipment i use? I feel comfortable with the blade as i like the weight and balance it has but my rubbers are very low quality and no grip. What is more important... Blade? or Rubbers? Any advice what to buy?... My style is controlled accurate attacking. I dont like to play defensivly and dont like to block or chop unless returning. My weakness is returning slow balls with alot of chop. I feel as though i cant create spin or my rubbers just dont have any grip? My coach has told me they are very bad. thanks for your help.

What might be the result of spin and speed if my blade is yinhe t10 plus balsa carbon offensive plus and my rubber is dhs h3neo?

yinhet10 + h3neo is a good combo when you play close to the table. However, far and mid from the table, it's difficult to topspin the ball.

EmRatThich why is it difficult to top spin far from table? Would it go straight and less arc?

Hello Emratthich, I don't understand what you mean when you say "you must fix the ball" (point 3 of this video). Please, could you explain me what is "fix the ball" ? Could you show an example of ball fixing ?Thank you in advance and best wishes.

+Christian Vauthey many amateurs playing hit the ball too soon. Somes hit too late. Its the question of timing. Fix the position of the ball before hitting means always hit the ball at the same moment on its trajectory. For example. Always hit when the ball stops on its highest bounce.
