Hey robuilder their is a plug-in called material flip where you can make the brick go horizontal instead of vertical with just enabling the plugin and selecting the cylinder

The reason why you shouldn’t use unions is they create inefficient geometry compared to models made in blender For example, if you save a union and open it in blender, you can find lots of duplicate vertices and faces

This is partial misinformation. Blender meshes exported to studio do the same thing; it's a thing which roblox does, roblox triangulates and edge splits all models upon import. It's hard to find exact information but typically consensus is agreed that a simple union is better than a simple mesh, meanwhile a complex mesh is much more optimised than a complex union.

FYI - If you want to change the color of a Union, then you will need to make sure the "UsePartColor" property is set to True (otherwise it won't change color) Maybe in your next video, you can also talk about how the Part.Material changes the weight/density, etc of the part as well.

Don't use unions for flipping materials, just use material flip plugin by stravant instead. Unions make a weird hitbox or what you should call it so if you want to make like a door, then unions are not that good because there will be like an invisible barrier to prevent the player from walking through

@@xinsalait_397 Precise hitboxes are way more costly than default, hull or box collisions. Just don't use unions at all bruh

an important note for the last tip: beware of scripts that try to harm you. be carefull what you spawn.

For movement I'd use 0.2 or 0.1. parts can still be even and they don't move not enough or too much. Just a personal preference.

I use 0.25 or 0.125 because I like things really symmetrical

when i originally started roblox studio when i tried my first horrible game, i thought you couldnt change the stud amount and roblox gave you the amount of studs you can have based on how good you were. i was too stupid back then but at least now i know

Main I think it is due to all parts of the house parented to the model Just try and find the part u want to grab the mesh you wish to move
