Top 5 things i have learnt - 1. Own the business/IP - if you don't, there is a 99% chance you are walking out of the den empty-handed 2. Networth evaluation - if you want the dragons to be chummy with you, don't value yourself at a million pounds when you have made a revenue of 10k. You are worth what you earn, not how much you can potentially 3. Immediate Result - Can you make the dragons earn back their investment within 1 to 2 years? If no, forget the pitch 4. Truth - Don't lie about how much of a company you own, what aspects of the company you own, whether your product is a pyramid scheme, etc... 5. Flexible - Don't be a smug muppet...be flexible and ready to compromise

It was a no brainer deal for Touker. Apply the coating to the fabric you already produce. Add another $100 to the price of each suit because of its cutting edge liquid proof tech. Touker probably made tens of thousands of dollars back or more.
