The more I see and hear Sara Davies, the more I like her. No bullying, no lessons, no arrogance, and an immediate solid contact with hopeful entrepreneurs in whose products she has confidence. I hope her track record backs up my confidence, but her people skills leave her fellow Dragons in the dust. I hope that this venture works out well for all concerned.

She's also in a better shape and with a much more remarkable fashion sense than in her first seasons. Which has nothing to do with anything but it's heartwarming to see anyway.

The clawback for the Cassis pitch being outright rejected was ridiculous. The conditions are normally pretty onerous like "if I get all my money back within a year", but the offer Sarah made should have been very easy to meet. That would tell me she has no confidence in her ability to grow the business.

Yes, the way she clung to her accountant's advice rather than take a punt with people who could have boosted her business and were clearly interested, or at worst, made her life a lot more fun, is beyond me. I don't know what exactly she was expecting to be offered. A solid product and lots of money behind her, but a boring pedestrian approach. If I'd had the opportunity to go into business with this lady, I think it would have been an uphill struggle arguing with her and her "accountant" - sadly!

If you’re unwilling or unable to disclose information, don’t go on a TV show when you know (or should know) that you’re going to be asked about it. The TV element isn’t a surprise to them.

@@michaelkupfer3723She's crazy for rejecting Sarah's offer. It was an amazing offer and you could clearly see she got completely hung up on the 40% and stopped listening to anything after that. Later on she even said that she didn't understand it. That should tell you a lot about her bussiness acumen. Bad decisions all around
The first one was only on for the exposure for her business. She already had a successful business selling to multiple international brands. She absolutely could have used some of that money to jump start the drinks scheme.
That first individual screwed up so badly. Literally the worst decisions from an Entrepreneur I've ever seen in the tank.

You clearly have no idea how business works. These "dragons" try to keep the price of the buyin low, because they want to triple, quadruple their investment (to simply double it would be pointless, Peter Jones said that himself). But they don't respect the Ten thousands of pounds and countless manhours to develope a product, a brand, engange in production and distribution... no they want 30% for peanuts because they are greedy.
