The loyalist clone of Fulgrim, if they ever expend on that, that would be awesome. Another loyal primarch even if he is a clone would go a long way in aiding Gilliman and whoever comes into play next.

Really not a safe corporate move. I wouldn't count on it. GW is big now, "just do what works" the more generic the better. The lore only got that interesting because GW was stuck decades in a low revenue position (and now their stock is overpriced anyway)

I think there's something going on behind the scenes with the night lords. In the story "Nightfall" the sorcerer of a Night Lords warband makes several references to the power of a "Black Star". I think this is the Tyrant star, and I'm guessing its connected to Malice.

I’d really like the Ynnari storyline to progress, having some hope for the Eldars is really exhilarating. Another story i wish would continue would be the clone Fulgrim’s. A civil war within the Emperor’s Children of all chapter with the possibility of a large number of them actually turning loyalists with an uncorrupted Fulgrim to boot would really be awesome.

My hope is that the clone fulgrim and ynnari plots converge, given that: 1. The last crone sword is held in the realm of slaanesh 2. So not really a storyline, but the thing I would like to see expanded on is Jaghatai telling Fulgrim he would leave him eating his sword. I know it can't happen in the siege of terra and probably not the scouring. However seeing the Khan come back and fight daemon fulgrim and show him what he meant would be satisfying. I would even be happy with a short story of them meeting before the siege and you could even have fulgrim stay in his primarch form so he doesn't have four arms. As long as he left after being embarrassed I'd be happy.
I'm dissapointed noone mentioned the most important story yet - continuation of the Twice Dead King. I-... ehm, I mean, WE need to know what happened to Oltyx after they arrived to their destination.
The Emperor allowing the Alpha Legion to take a beacon in the Imperium Nihilus is a bit of a red flag when it comes to Omegon/Alpharius being actually loyal.

I want to see more stories exploring the men of iron, its so interesting.
Love all your choices. Personally I want them to focus more on Kantor, especially in the wake of him being held in high esteem by Guilliman.
I feel like most Warhammer stories meander off into the distance, rather than having any sort of closure of an ending. I remember when the Horus Heresy books were first coming out, had to get used to pivoting to a new protagonist with almost every new book. Probably better that way though in the long run. Personally, I really wish they expanded the Legion story. Either adding to the story with additional books or expanding Legion over more books.
I just finished listening to Know No Fear on audible and I have to admit it's my favorite of the Horus Heresy books so far. The book is about the sacking of an ultramar world and is full of some amazing action-packed scenes of Astartes on Astartes action as well as Astartes vs Daemons as the main villain of the story are the Word Bearers. It also sets up a sub plot with a perpetual and a group of guard vets and civilians on a very important side mission. There are also a bunch of ultramarine forces (guardsmen, mechanicus, and astartes) who are forced to flea into underground bunkers as a star goes supernova. I would really love to know if there is a continuation of this story or the events within it, I would love to know what Robute does after the he escapes from Calth, what happens to the ultramarine forces left behind and what in the hell that damn perpetual is up to.
I would love to see an inquisitor interact with the lion. Both sides keep their secrets but one has seen and dealt with unimaginable horrors while the other is playing protector. The lion would almost certainly start a war with them lol
Personally I’d love to see some new talk about typhus and mortarion. Like some fueds.

Perpetuals in the current timeline.
I mean, they cant even advance the alderi storyline as a whole until they at least deal with the ynnari, and they really should just take the wild and brave step of changing the Eldar faction entire, bringing back their pantheon and ending the subfactions as they currently exist (rebuilding them around the gods, maybe with similar themes so people don't have their model collections rendered pointless lol)
I would really really love to see the story of sister Agentha continues, following the vision Ezekiel had when he and the apothecary delivered her, especially considering how the Lion's return and consequently more DA contents in the coming 10th edition has been rumoured in the community: "The years spent in the schola progenium, always top of her class, always striving to learn more. Her acceptance into the convent, her thirst for knowledge unquenched. Out among the stars, trying to find her way back home. The Black Templars and the necrons. The lost Chapter. The Exorcists. The loyal brother from the Chapter turned. The love of a rogue trader, unrequited. The pits of the Dark City, disloyal to two masters. Decades of service to the ordo, undone in a moment. A homecoming long desired but never expected. The Eye of Terror. The rescue and redemption of one of the Dark Angels’ own. A most glorious death." I know the author of the Eye of Ezekiel no longer write for BL but I hope this storyline can be picked up just as the star child was in Throne of Light.
And there can never be enough Alpha Legion stories for me

There was a short story about The Primarch Prototype the Angel, also called the Sleeper and the Angel of Destruction, was an incredibly powerful living weapon, created on Terra by the Emperor himself.
Funny you bring up traitor Gene-seed. That's actually the premise of my home brew chapter of Marines(when I get around to building them). I'm going to take various aspects of certain chapters(any that I choose) and mix em all together. My Marines will be mutts of a bunch of different legions, and that includes traitors. My lore will be that Cawl experimented in secret on creating hybrid versions(HIGHLY Heretical) and the reason that my guys would ever have to fight loyalists is to cover up Cawl's experiments. So they're always on the run and fighting everyone. Another great narrative that you bring up is the Ecclesiarchy over stepping. The months of Shame could make a bit of a play and we might even see GK pushing back AGAINST the Inquisition because they do not want to repeat that. Sisters vs Grey Knights maybe? Could be interesting.
With the return of the Lion forecast the lnquisition go after the Dark Angels for keeping the fallen their dirty little secret. Of course Gulliman knows about the fallen and it leads to the lnqusition attempting to take out Azrael ( that attempt causes Azrael to cross the Rubicon) and the following situation that follows.
I think the beacon of the Astronomican on Imperium Nighalis side is the best option as we are about to get Dark Angels and Blood Angels vs Dark Mechanicus and Chaos on that side it fits the best right now.
Fabius and his new men . trazyn and cawl working together , mankind eldar alliance
Id love to see Trazyn, Cawl and the Fulgrim clone.
My first though when I read the title was the story of the last lunar wolf. I wonder what he did when he learned of the heresy.
I think the story of one of the original Grey Knights Epimetheus who stood vigil at a demon portal called the Damnation Gate on Pythos defeating a greater demon but ended up being captured by Abaddon the Despoiler.
DRACO, what happened to Captain Lex & the Sensei
Ciaphas Cain coming out of retirement for the 13th Black Crusade, and the death/parting of ways with Jurgen alluded to in "For the Emperor"
I want to see if anything happens with clone Fulgrim. I call it a minor storyline but realistically the implications of it are huge, it's only minor because in the grand scheme of things it hasn't had huge ripple effects. Yet.
I want to see a Full Blown war with the Chaos marines vs the Tau. We got a sample with the Death Guard, be I think one surprise the Tau don't fully understand is the powers of Chaos. Thousand Son with their massive amount of warp powers would be cool.
So many great stories!
All 5 of these have been on my mind so as well as the Loyal Fulgrim 1 though I'm most interested in the loyal word bear 1
Real #1 - Prophet of the 8th and the Crown of the Night Haunter, And/or ANY Primarch return arc
I'd love to see more White Scars stories. I don't play or collect them but Black Library does a good job of pushing them as bad ass Mongol bikers. Plus who doesn't love the stoical Kahn?
I want to see the events of Ashes of Prospero come back and be expanded upon having Bulveye return to the Wolves bringing back several hundred HH SW legionaires.
A Drukhari civil and the birth Ynead war could lead to the return of Jaghatai Khan as well
Literally anything on Chaos Knights would get me interested.
Yeah we definitely need alpha legion story about the beacon . Clearly they are loyalist enough for the Emperor to trust them . If anyone knows if their is any more story out about this I’d love to be pointed in that direction. Thanks
Here's what I'd like in the future. Fulgrim (the clone returning) or another loyalist like the lion or Russ (kinda upset by wolftime) I would like to see more going on with the necrons like maybe the silent king launching a campaign to retake the planet's near to cadia and the eye to attempt to contain the spread. The eldar I'd like to see some stuff with them like maybe another attempt to summon their god to destroy slannesh. Tau actually doing stuff. Tyranids get enough attention in my opinion they're just used to make chapters take primaris. Overall I want the lion or Russ to come back and reign in Gulliman. Right now I feel like there's too much focus on the imperium
The perfect clone of Fulgrim. There is a full-strength chaos-free living Fulgrim who regrets turning against the emperor. Just imagine how he could help the Empire. How can they just leave that there?

@@gwilym1991 The emperor did promise Magnus a new legion, a better legion, if he returned to his side during the siege of terra. My current Blood Ravens theory is that Big E had already figured out the flaw of the flesh change but never did anything further because he had to go into the golden throne. Then and at some point later some tech adept finds the repaired gene seed and not knowing any better makes a chapter out of it. Once some part of the highlords catch up with the whole mess they are like, well this was the emperor's plan, and they have been doing only good, so we'll just take out our big black marker and start redacting, deleting, and sealing records. Remember when the Space Wolves made their own Primaris alone with no Magna Mater and Magnus went and shut it down? Anchorate (spl?) is a good one, I have to agree. I want to see if that goes anywhere. I want to see more of Ahriman focused books. I have read the trilogy and enjoyed it a lot. Also Tau Enclave seems to have been quite quiet these past years. I want an update story on them.
I think the story line that best moves forward is the ones in the Dawn of Fire novels. And the scenario I think looks like this: The Inquisition feels threatened by the Imperial Historicans created by Guilliman and so somewhere in the sector of the galaxy a handful of powerful Inquisitors do not recognize the Primarch’s authority; and move their shadow operatives to delay impede redact also assassinate the Historicans and their Primaris protectors. The old Inquisitor killing off a Space Marine Chapter story plot. Guilliman learns of it and has received irrefutable evidence ‘right’ because Guilliman is fair and slow to justice but merciless. Guilliman chooses to act against that sectors Inquisitors and they go down like the High Lords of Terra with Custodian Guard, Assinorium, Machincus of Mars, Primaris Marine chapters and to add insult to the Inquisitors a Representative of the Inquisition passing judgement on them as Traitors to the Imperium. The Custodian Guard also convinces Guiliman of eliminating the space marine chapters that aided the Inquisitors who killed off the Primaris Chapter assigned to protect the Historiacans. It will be epic! In the prolog, Guiliman’s intelligence discover that the Inquisitors have been withholding historical data about the sector to themselves and altering them to continue in receiving more resources to combat a Chaos threat but in reality. No Chaos, chaos forces has migrated to the scourge stars to fight their holy war between the 4 pantheon gods as chess pieces on a galactic chess board. 😮

I loves me some Great Crusade stuff, but I enjoy all lore
The pheonix rising with the new clone is all I want for Christmas
I think the Alpha Legion was allowed to take the Beacon so the Emperor could communicate directly with Alpharius/Omegon/both
Prediction: the traitor geneseed storyline will become relevant when Cawl, or one of his mind clones, turns to the Dark Mechanicum (probably after feeling slighted for not being made Fabricator General) and does an Order 66, causing Primaris marines to turn on the Imperium.
1. Clonegrim, 2. I want to see an SoB character ( a mortal one, not St. Celestine) do something that drives the setting, the current SoB Novels have been good, but are not central to the main storyline. 3. The Sabbat World setting brought forward to the current setting. 4. Something to do with the Men of Iron. I'd like to see them come out of the wood work, drawn to the advances created by the T'au. Possibly trying to corrupt their AI brethren.
Also, lets get the story of Angron coming to destroy the Coral Engine and then Korne heling him
The issue and danger with traitor gene-seed to make loyalist chapters is that most of those primarchs still essentially exist and the effect they have on their sons. This was seen when the Fulgrim clone appeared before his sons and they wanted to follow him without question. Would Astartes based on traitor gene-seed be able to resist the pull of their generally daemonically enhanced gene-sires? Or would their fall be all but inevitable? The only viable option would be to use Luna Wolf gene-seed and starting with the legacy of the Arch-Traitor would be a bit much for Guilliman.
I think we're going to see Omaha cron loyalist story line and restoration of loyalist alpha legion Marines to the Empire . I think the spawning in the Imperial nihila's the Imperial nihilist of a number of things that the emperor is working on including the alpha legion restoration.
The Traitor gene seed plot thread will only ever be a wink & a nod. It’s there so players can create their own chapters & develop for them. It has to remain subtext in the lore. Remember 40K is a masterclass on unreliable narrators in fiction - there’s never one absolute truth.
The best outcome with the inquisition is they take their "WE are the voice of the emperor" absolutely literally and this brings them in to conflict with the Custodes. The 10,000 fight a secret war against the Inquisition to show them exactly who speaks for the Emperor.

I want loyalist Nightlords just to field Reiver’s that can actually do something. Like if GW wants Phobos stuff to take off that is how to make it work. Also how badass would it be to play Luna Wolves in 40k as they just want to rid the Galaxy of Abbadon and pay in blood for the sins of their father.
If the clone of Fulgrim goes full loyalist, I have to imagine the Traitors will get someone to balance the scales. I have a theory that the Lion will become split in body and soul, with 1 half being loyalist and the other being traitor, but I feel like that would be better as a mirror to a loyalist Omegon. The 2 most secretive legions.
For me it is 100% the Beacon of Light. The rest are all good except for traitor geneseed. I honestly do not care about traitor geneseed, some of the best heroes were from traitor legions. Plus around 1/3 of the traitor legions remained loyal (even with the outrageous pull of their primarch there in person). If fully 1/3 of traitor legions remained loyal, despite the presence of their own primarch, than I think a far better story would be loyalist traitor legion fighting the ruinous powers. I am not interested at all in the Imperiums concern about traitor gene seed. Also, very refreshing video idea! I had forgotten alot of these, thanks for the refresher and reminder of how rich the 40k lore is. Honestly, 40k needs a major studio to just churn out tons and tons of high quality animation to get it all out. Live action would be amazing but animation is far quicker and cheaper. Would just love for someone to realize how amazing the 40k verse is and do something with it.
Rangdan Xenocides, the complete story
I want Nick Kyme to finish vol 2 of the Tome of Fire
Alpha Legion and the beacon, hands down. it seems like something as important as a secondary astronomicon with the current situation should be alot more important than just a single book.
