As an investment enthusiast, I often wonder how top level investors are able to become millionaires off investing. I believe the safest approach is to diversify investments especially under professional; guide. You can mitigate the effects of a market meltdown by diversifying their investments across different asset classes such as stocks, etfs etc It is important to seek the advice of an expert.

Review your portfolio with a professional and don't make the same mistakes again. Diversify, as in your stock portfolio, and hopefully consult a professional. The key to building wealth is long term. great question Jorge! I prefer to always focus on Free Cash Flow and I LOVE it when teh Free Cash Flow is higher than the earnings. Free Cash Flow is the true metric. Over long periods of time, earnings and cash flow should be the same and most times, earnings are higher than free cash flow...but when cash flow is higher, it's so much better bc that's truly how a business operates. With their cash flow.

Hi Paul. I saw that you and some other investors estimate for a long period of time P/E of 15-20. I understand that this is a standard P/E for a mature company. What i dont understand is why this have to be so high? If somebody has a business that generates 1K earnings a year, and i want to buy this business, will it be normal to buy it for 15K? because then i will have to wait 10-15 years to return my investment. This would be true about housing, but with a business/stocks i am putting more risk, so i would expect to get less time to return my investment.
Damn, I never thought you'd cover BATSI of all things. No idea why I'm down 10% on this thing. Still buying.

@@Exceldividends Maybe. I'm far more worried about taxation and the like. Granted, at higher P/E's I'd avoid them given their growth outlook, but imo the negative trend in tobacco is exaggerated in pricing. The trend in smoking mainly applies to the developed world. There's vaping, and then there's nicotine pouches. If the latter becomes popular to a similar extent to how it is the Nordics, it's a huge source of potential income. Either way, the market is still big and will remain so for some time. They just have to buy back shares and be cost-effective, for this to be a great investment for decades to come. Even if I'm wrong, at these levels, I doubt my losses will exceed my dividends.

It's interesting to see your analysis of HPQ after having started a position in the stock a week ago. I was looking for the next likely benefit from the AI boom and it points to the PC market. AI tech up to this point has been concentrated on data storage centers but is now being built directly into PCs by addition of NPUs. Considering the facts that Microsoft is ending support for Windows 8 and 10 and the last rush in PC sales being early in the pandemic points toward aging computers needing OS upgrades at the very least. I think many will just buy new computers and workstations increasing revenues for PC manufacturers as well as the chips that power them.

Compelling list except Disney: Disney is the same price as if you bought 2015. Streaming service is ehh , do they raise prices at the parks ? Blockbusters are a little less "blockbustery" lately . Nearly zero price appreciation for a decade mind blowing when you think about it. 2009 Disney ,VIG,SCHD were all at the "samish" price returns and have earned the basically the same return looking at todays date. ETF gave more diversification and a lower risk profile and lower volatility IMO. Lots of You Tube creators love this one though. Adobe , very compelling but will AI disrupt. I want to buy but to scared on this one.
Adobe sells almost exclusively to the Design industry-- Midjourney ( Artificial Intelligence) will replace so many people in the design business. What if AI puts a dent in their business?

Yep, value traps should not be buying back shares. Take all that money and pay it out as a dividend, when the stock goes to 0 at least the shareholders will have gotten paid.

You need to stop pumping stocks that you own. You’re losing credibility in your program. Cover stocks that you don’t own yet.
