Great video to show em all off as there’s a lot out there now that do everything and for £50 to £80 at the most you can get ya self a good half hour of pure fun 🤩 .The 144001 is obviously the best if your into rc the others are perfect for someone starting out, good stuff 😎🙏👍

Hey, Richie is back! I have the 144001, (with more than a handful of upgrades, but nothing crazy), and I love it! It got me into RC almost 2 years ago, and is serving me well, very good car, and the price is awesome! It has some pretty minor issues, but those are nitpicks. It's also a great platform (as is the Wltoys 124019/8/7/6) for upgrading, you can turn it into a track car, speed demon (100mph+ is possible if you really feel the need for speed!!), and a tough, fun, basher (my pick).

got myself a 124018 a month ago .. FULL metal upgrade is on it's way from china , after that will come the brushless conversion , got it for 77$ and now with 67$ worth of metal upgrades + 20$ of wheels and tires on the way , in the end it will be a 300$ eye catcher .

I love my 144001 it's the best and most fun RC I've ever had. The tires were completely bald in about a dozen runs but it was (and still is) worth every penny of the $101.88 I paid for it.

you can also find 124019/124018 and 1603 for about 95-100$ or a 16890 for ~105-110$ . In this video the 144001 is in a class of his own ( except the 2188a since it's a dedicated drifter )

My sg 1603 has the same setup with the speeds instead of 2 light switches

I have the 2188a and the 144001 and I tell you the 2188a is best fun per buck! it is great. 144001 is very nice too.

a gyro does not enable you to be a drift god, that comes with practice, I’m 12 , I can drift a rwd RC drift car with no gyro, I’m really good but I have had maybe five hours driving drift cars

I just bought 2 typhon 6s v5 last week and both broke on the 2nd run both ESC's one the wires got stripped out and the other had a cap pack wire fray due to the servo arm pinching it and cutting it, I contacted Horizon Hobby and they told me to go pound sand!......... I WILL NEVER BUY ANOTHER FUCKING HORIZON HOBBY PRODUCT EVER AGAIN!!! buyer beware
