Bruce and Bongo, the guys you say are definitely German, are English. Lol They were soldiers in the "Rheinarmee"and were fascinated by the diverse uses of the word "Geil", which is why they made a song about it.😄

So let's count them as Germanized Brits, will we?
Opus, who sang Live Is Life, are an austrian band. So the song is not just produced here. ;)

Released at "Polydor" a German record label.
To be fair, those songs were sung or produced by people in german speaking countries, so there are also Swiss or Austrian musicians (e.g. Falco)
"Da da da" was great, the record sold so well that German TV couldn't help but invite the band to the "Hitparade", the most watched Schlager show, although reluctantly. And don't expect there would be any more lyrics, it's all just "da da da". 1982/3 Falco was Austrian and sang in his Austrian dialect and sometimes English. The circumstances of his death are unclear, common theories are accidental drug overdose or suicide, but all with the shadow of a doubt. Anyway, he was a great artist. 1983/2 Nena also published an English version of her anti-war song "99 red balloons" which became quite popular in the USA. 1984/5 One of the best "coming of age" or "first love" songs I ever heard. Still like it. 1985/4 As much as I disliked songs that were written and produced just for commercial reasons, I couldn't help dancing to that one back then. Besides, every young male teenager loved Sandra and maybe even had her poster on the wall. 1987/4 The real title is "Keine Sterne IN Athen", never mind, I wonder why that year male singers started singing about their bad vacation experiences with their spouses and admit they've been cheated. Male emancipation? Maybe. 1988/1 A carnival song that became #1. Great! 1988/5 Another song about a man being cheated by his woman, brutally sincere. I liked it. 1988/2 and /3 are both Austrian, sung in their dialect, and have fun lyrics. My favorites still. 1989, Milli Vanilli stormed the charts. Wherever you went, you couldn't avoid them. 1989/4 is legend, that song will last forever. Well, to sum it up, to me the 1980s were a decade of innovative music: Lyrics still had a meaning, while electronic effects started to influence (or replace) instrumentation. On the other hand, those were my younger days, so maybe I glorify them a bit.
I never made the connection between Der Kommissar and U Can't Touch This but now I can't unhear it!
OPUS "Life is life" is from Austria

It’s not about German songs it’s about songs from German-speaking countries

@@afjo972 There is nothing about "german speaking" in the title, just german. And only a goofy can put austrian artists in a video with such a title. And yes, it matters because it's insult to do this.
Thanks for your great Video. Milli Vanilie was produced by Frank Farian, Who made also Boney M. Falco, EAV, and Reinhard Fendrich are from Austria.

Frank farian had his own top ten hit in the mid 70ies, but sing all male voices for boney m and a decade later for milli vanilli. Frank also wrote and produced all their songs
You are simply the best !!! I love your videos and love how you react to them. You are a really nice guy.

Thank you so much 😀
Edelweiss - sounds like SOS/ABBA from 1975.
As you remarked about the nipple...it's a satirical/humoristic song about how complicated it has gotten to open things. The chorus is a fictional, over-the-top instruction text for opening something, the stanzas are the situations where they guy needed to open something, with the second-to-last one being a parachute and the last one heaven's gates. You only have to pull the nipple through the loop And crank it all the way to the top with the small handle An arrow appears there immediately On which you then press. And the [varies per stanza] will then open.
Hi Shae...welcome back ^^

Shae!! I absolutely adore your reactions, but these music compilations are s***, to react to, to express it in blunt German! 😂 I mean, what do you get from 3 second long music clips...? Makes no sense... 🙈

Wait for the 90s. This is probably the most German decade. After that... not much.
Geiler Macker aber flco war aber ein Österreicher
Hi Shea, I feel very sorry for you that you know the song Life is Life by Opus. In my opinion this is the worst song ever, in past, present, future and eternity. My ears bleed! 😂😅 Good to see you back!

Vielleicht hast du immer das falsche Lied gehört, denn das Lied im Video heißt Live is Life und nicht Life ist Life. Achja, und der Rest, den du von dir gegeben hast ist gelinde gesagt totaler Schwachsinn.
