Yes, tell us about your Big Wood! Give us Big Wood!
Yooo thanks so much for including the Revo Pro Series in this!!
Awesome video idea! I've really enjoyed playing with PKOLL's crazy paddles! And I agree the Bigwood has some similar attributes to Nomex paddles. Really can't believe the core's honeycomb is all wood. And that thing has some power, too!
Enjoyed this video very much. The big wood is crazy.
Such a cool video, I had no idea basalt has been used in tennis racquets and paddles. Thanks, Will!
Cool review Will! I find Big Wood to be super interesting! Loved your vid beating the left handed Ben Johns.
Good job Will. The Bird Falcon Elite Ergo impressed me. Very funny.
I want to try the Pkoll
Could you pls review the mark 1X from mark pickleball .
Great video concept letting us know what's unique and fun in your arsenal, I would totally buy all 4 trainer paddles to rep all the paddle reviewers! I wasn't familiar with Revolin before this, so I went back and watched YOUR Revolin Revo Pure Control review from back in the day (that video is when you truly took over as host). With the new Revolin Pro Pure Hybrid for advanced and Rise for beginner players, do you think they have a good enough line-up to ambassador for as a pickleball coach? I'm currently with another manufacturer, but I would really like to help make the sport more sustainable!
Very interesting video. I use Hudef HPJ for rec. I like its color very much. It is very durable and will not fade. I read on the website that it uses a special technique.
If I could try a paddle it would be either one of the Revlon paddles or the Shogun. Will have a good trip on your upcoming adventure. If you would like some names and recommendations let me know. Keep on Dinking.
maybe the big wood guys could use the basalt rock fibers on the face of their wooden paddle
I believe the Franklin trainers are USAP approved. What are your thoughts on the quiet 2 compared to the other models from Pkoll you have tried?
Tried a "PBZ" syle about 7 years ago, Not my jam. Some guys over in Lake Havasu where the designer lives, play with it on the regular. Bigwood is also a head turner. I have one and it plays great. BRICK HOUSE also uses a wood face. Just got the OM EVO that's a concept paddle and not approved, but since the Gen3s have flooded the Rec, I don't care if it's not approved. Also have a VICE.

OM Aero¹ EVO all the way. Hits like a rocket.

@@jonnygibaud7954 It takes some adjusting to for sure. No swing needed hardly. I liked how it drops with no effort. Much less obvious as a concept than my VICE.
Will check out the KC1 from Standout Pickleball, the spinoff company from SixZero. The paddle face is Kevlar, titanium and carbon fiber mix. Their CF3 plays as if the BD and DBD had a baby
awesome paddles, i was hoping to hear your review comments about thickness and weight. i'm thinking of making paddles

I usually prefer the feel 16mm paddles and like my paddles stock weight around 8 oz
Would be interesting to see a racket with Balsa core with Limba outer ply, and potentially a Kevlar or Carbon sheet under the Limba. Basically Yinhe T11 table tennis racket scaled into pickleball. I think it would have some epic properties, both pop and dwell, which could lead to serious spin increase.
Pkoll, looks pretty cool actually

Yessirski, just bought the shogun using yoyr code, goodlooks
Thanks Will. Did you try the standard and lightweight Pro 1 and if so which did you prefer?

Nice video, Will! Despite having an unfortunate name, that big wood paddle looks great! I may pick one up just for hanging on the wall, ha

It’s not weird when it’s spelled correctly, which is “Bigwood.” It’s the owners’ partners’ last name and an amazing play on words given what it’s made of!!

I'm a wood grain fan from an aesthetic point of view. You can't choose from grains that have more character. So there's that.
Airbender is underrated, happy to see it in this vid
Normal pronunciation for basswood is like 'bass' the fish not 'base'. Nice video. Thanks.
Hi what would be an upgrade to the vatic prism 16mm. Money is no issue

Depends on if you want to get more power or more of the same all court prowess. More power go with Azul or Black Diamond. More all court go with Hurache X Control +. If you want a bit of both the PaddleTek Bantam TKO-C
im close to pulling the trigger on the shogun- elongated with pop but can play softly and acceptable sweetspot, mmmm. It would be epic if you walked onto the court with the falcon in your left hand as a 'shield' for blocks and the pikol in the right as a 'sword.'

The PBZ I tested was fun, but overheads for me were tough. Had to grip it really tight to keep it from twisting backwards.
Would love to try the PKOLL paddle. Saw somebody playing with it on the courts on the Big Island and he was crushing the ball. There is no way that paddle is consider a trainer paddle.

I’m looking for a Franklin fs dynasty tour review

i unfortunately don't have any of those but I believe @pickleballeffect did a written review on it. pickleballeffect.com/equipment-reviews/review-of-franklin-fs-tour-series/
I’ll be sure to google big wood pickle paddle later
Have you played with the Pkoll Touch paddles?
@PickleballWill

Yes I have them all. The touch is a tad wider and a bit more forgiving and soft but not by much. I still prefer the Quiet series over the touch series

@@PickleballWill good to know. I already have a quiet 1 that I purchased a few weeks ago with your code. Have you cut down the handle length on any of them?

BLX TOUR!!!! One of my favs as well. ❤

You already know! 😎
Btw. I know first hand from the factory that the “titanium” weaved into the face is actually just aluminum. Apparently it’s the same with tennis rackets. Whenever you see a titanium racket, it is also aluminum. Not sure how the industry has gotten away with that for so long.
