Anybody can fall into that super of the moment trap.........

Unfaithful is #1 to me. Diane Lane was amazing. The more aging, the sexier. The music was also untamed. The second I would give it to 'The Intersection' between Lolita Davidovish and Richard Gere. And the third, English Patient.

TOTALLY agree, I was shocked it was #5. Bridges was amazing, though, that soulmate kind of love-I cry every time at the end scene. That would be #2 in my book.

I also liked another Diane Lane movie: "A Walk on the Moon" with Viggo Mortensen who was also in "A Perfect Murder" with Gwyneth Paltrow. Steamy scenes are pretty good. And "Stage Beauty" had Clare Danes and Billy Crudup.

The movie "Dangerous Liaisons" (Stephen Frears - 1988) is missing here. This is a big detriment!

1. Unfaithful I like watching Ashley Judd. 2. A Royal Affair I liked the history lesson. Got 4 of them on DVD or BD but I only liked the two.

I love this list and definitely love the ranking order . Unfaithful is a favorite for a lot because it’s honestly a spectacular movie but yet it’s ‘love’ was different.. it was random and spontaneous.... No.5 and 4 were also more of lust than love oriented... but No. 3 was more of a two lonely neglected souls finding each other and find that love they never knew , yet though she could have been the happiest woman in the world , her motherly heart stops that... No. 2 also is an amazing movie there again wrong partners and amidst of unloved & ignorance finds compassion from the most unbelievable two people... where they understand each other’s hearts... yet the people who drew them to cross paths are the exactly ones pulling them apart... No.1 omg !! I am so honestly happy about this !! The English patient is like the ultimate love Story...! Michael Ondatachi’s masterpiece will remain as one of the best of the best ! A person who loves reading would understand and agree to that ... the essence of love , the desperation, the despire , of promises, of broken promises and aches and torments people go through all cause of love ... it’s forbidden yet why does it feel right .... , how does the author manipulates , us into wanting the illegitimate lovers to win , though it’s ethically wrong...! I just love love love this list .. 💗

Was Unfaithful "Love at First Sight " or "Lust at First Sight" ? , The main Arc of Story, Acting, Music, Cinematography were good. Special mention of the make-up artist who ensured strands of hair falling over Connie's cheeks at the critical moments ........ but it was Adrian Lyne movie ..........took the film to the realm soft porn". There are many illogical, implausible, improbable events and glaring mistakes that one can notice in the storyline/movie. I found the movie ( as the movie is built) a sad and depressing commentary on a woman and a mother. Makes you ponder if “mothers are born to make this world wonderful” and “most important things in life are not always about making yourself happy”,
