Detrail Berg 155, Commencal Meta V5 and SX V5, Canyon Torque and Canyon Spectral cause cheaper and Aluminium options then the Strive. the list goes on, where's the budget pics and bikes for regular people who aren't racing everywhere?

I assume you've ridden all the bikes in the video, in addition to all the ones you would choose?

I reckon about 5% of mountain bikers actually race there bikes, yet you only recommend race bred bikes. There are sooooo many more NEW bikes out there that would be on my list.

As because these publications have become nothing more than simple marketing for the fucking bullshit, spewing shit of whatever the hell the Bike company spews. They’re all garbage these days they certainly don’t care about the reader. They don’t care about what bike you buy they just care about being able to continue their jobs so they will push any bullshit that they’re told to push.

Just bought my ‘23 Enduro Comp for under £3k, used c2w so will only pay £2.2k. Unreal value.

All good bikes no doubt. At the end I went with Fezzari La Sal Peak.

Wow this is only 5 of the bikes I need to buy this year? Man this is going to be a tough year for my kids, and they're already on a 2-meal of oatmeal a day diet.

Did you maybe get the pedal and shred sides for the strive mixed up? Right looks pre compressed and therefore better for pedaling or am I missing something? 🤔

Yup, they did. Took the pics from the Canyon promotional material for the Shapeshifter but mixed up the description. Also makes sense given that the Shapeshifter engages shred mode under load and Pedal mode while being unloaded.

Well, you definitely do not want to be buying a 2024 bike considering you can buy last years models for bargain prices due to overstocking. It is a buyers market out there now.

Good spot! There's a few factors we consider when choosing bikes for these videos. One of the main ones being how recently or regularly they have featured on the channel. We like to try and feature a variety when we can

For the money, nobody comes even close, not even close…to the Capra.

Unbelievable spec for the money on my Capra uncaged 11 🤯

had a strive in 2022. the shapeshifter broke after 2 rides. literally no one local can fix it. had to return it to Germany and buy a new bike and deal with customs. never buy anything that has proprietary tech no one can fix.

That is the downside of both proprietary tech and buying direct from the manufacturer rather than a dealer, can be more time consuming if things go wrong

The Arrival is an awesome bike, our Senior Technical Editor Alex Evans has had one since last year and it does indeed rip! Well worthy of anyones attention!

Nothing wrong with reviewing fast bikes. Easier and safer to ride a spirited pace on a fast bike than a slow one. Nothing wrong with riding a fast bike slowly either. If you’ve got macho-ego issues then just ride a hard tail…

Enduro bikes by definition are race bikes really and you can ride them slowly if you want. Anyone who has seen Tom ride knows that!! 😂 #allthegearnoidea

@@mihaildimovski4007 having tools rattling around in your frame doesn't seem like a good idea. Annoying at least. It adds weight to the frame versus in your pack. And the space always seems too small to be worth it. I'd rather just add a frame pack or use my hydration pack
