Practice at lower keys ? Use healing cooldowns when boss does big damage? The learning how is part of the game

HOI 3rd boss is the most fun boss to heal. Predictable damage coming constantly. It’s the only boss probably where you can play healer as a rotation minmax class. You just have to execute your rotation as perfectly as possible to do the maximum healing. Literally what healing should be like. Literally what being a dps does most of the time.

Can't agree more . Every thing is predictable and 1-0 either dps make mistake and die or they don't get any extra unpredictable dmg . And u as healer can spam heal and see number's going brrrrrrrrr

See I love making lists like this because personal experience is such a big part of it! I haven't had trouble on the last boss of AV yet, however I have had a ton of trouble on the first boss!

the hardest bosses (imo) to heal in high tyra keys: 1. khajin - hoi 2. teera and maruuk - no 3. forgemaster gorek - neltharus 4. sentinel talondrus - ulda 5. watcher irideus - hoi

Teera and maruuk can absolutely catch you off guard, of the quick shot hits the wrong person after the winds, it's lights out lol!

for Neltharus, if all dps stack on the tank and the healer is the furthest, the dragon strike will always go on the healer. This will make keeping the dps alive during the aoe much easier. Once you get to 14+ keys, you're not going to break 2 chains at once unless you're in a proper group with voice coms to manage the damage.

Well documented and pretty good picks. The only one I would have swapped would have been the second boss in nokhud for vexamus bc I'm on purge duty and have to collect orbs from greedy DPS lol. Hey you've improved a lot since I first started watching you. Are you playing any other healers this season?

Thank you so much! And yeah i think a lot of the middle ground bosses are pretty interchangable and this list could've easily looked very different! Thank you! I plan on jamming some alts but not to the extent of last season!

I actually think 3rd boss in halls is the best healer fight they’ve ever made. I hate these bursty mechanics that require a defensive or external to survive. If you or your dps don’t have one, it’s checkmate. But that 3rd boss lets me carry and just blast. Super fun.

Just rota dwarf or evoker dispell for dragonstrike. This Boss is actually pretty ez. Also you can bait it easily.

I feel the frost queen on HOI is difficult based on healer. Fistweaving was much harder then resto Druid for sure. I actually find it much more fun to heal than most of the other bosses this season.

@@LBNinja7 it definitely feels like I have the control and pressure of if we make it through. Unlike other bosses where I am hoping that we have enough cooldowns to live oneshots back to back to back. It’s also just fun putting up 500k+ hps lol

Chargath is easy as hell, ngl. It only gets extremely difficult when it glitches (and pulses damage for longer periods of time), and when your group doesn't know how to manage their defensives and other cds for each set of chains/bleeds (also people that enjoy shitty comps that have 0 utility makes it harder). I've had fights where I barely do 80k hps, and other fights where it goes to almost 200k in the +14-16 range or higher on Tyrannical.

Uldaman last boss dot is a snare. Many many specs can just remove the dot with fade, tigers lust or just prevent it altogether with ams etc. you shouldn't be needing to heal more than 1 target that has a dot there. Uldaman 3rd boss is impossible without dwarfs or a paladin+evoker that can remove the dots for the overlaps, ironically, I loved to heal this boss as disc priest in S1/2?. Ice boss is hard without a shadow priest but pretty easy with one since they do 70k+ hps and can fill your CD gaps. Interesting forge boss isn't on the list from eNltharus that one is pretty rough for most healers on tyrannical since the mechanics come so close after one another.

Yeah having chiji and Tigers lust makes it easy enough for me, but on my druid I jammed this boss and having to use a global to pre bear then hop out feels pretty bad lol

Paladin can also freedom the dot + with unbound freedom if he also gets the dot he removes for 2 ppl. + bubble + bop (does bop work for this dot?)

I got a good laugh for having to pull just under 500k hps on a 13 tyran HoI for that third boss. That fight is disgusting since even if you are playing perfectly you will likely need to squeeze some damage in to not oom by the end of the fight (at least as an rdruid I had to get mana restored from master shapeshifter to last the full fight).

My only complain is that there is a huge difference in going with or without Aug evoker. M+15 feels like 13 with Aug. Sorry for poor english.

I think hoi is easy because they die Slow, ich hab Problems with the bosses who do aoe dmg over 5 sec but every Tick hits with 30-50% of every players Lifebar.

I dont get IT, Bro you got 400k Healing... i got 200k - 250k with holy Paladin.... Whats your gear? My is 509. I am Bad?

You aren't bad at all! Think about this, I had to do that much healing because that's how much damage the boss was doing to my party. As a paladin, you have to do less healing because your glimmer and aura are mitigating how much damage you all are taking. Plus, what class your tank is really matters too. Having a blood dk or druid tank means you'll do a lot less healing!

If nobody is dieing your healing is fine, you cannot do more hps than the incoming dps

You probably don't wanna hear this, but you really need to have your party frames about target high. Having them down by you CDs is such a terrible habit that's losing you quite a bit of time. But anyway, it's really frustrating that healing is so much more demanding than the other roles right now. Like what is hard for a DPS lol.

Yeah khajin is easily my favorite m+ boss to heal ever!

Wrong except for boss 1 and 5 those boss are extremely easy to heal healer just have low agency on boss 2 3 4 do dps do mech correctly ? if yes they live if no they die and boss 1 is pure rot damage fight meaning if you understand the basic of your classe it's a pure stat check
