    They're definitely all fair picks. As someone who likes to BIM directly in rhino. I'd say elefront deserves a place. Also some of the manipulations in pufferfish are great for modeling rebar on asymmetric solids

    Elefront is a great suggestion and one we need to investigate further here.

    Thanks for the video, optimization with milipede or galapagos?

    Yes we have used the Galapagos components that come with Grasshopper. Millipede we have used however development seems to have stopped with that plugin that we could find.

    Hi, I am newly with Grasshopper. I am looking to find a way to automate bolt detection and open holes and voids. Do you know if there is a plugin that can help me do the job? Thanks in advance

    Hi. I'm not aware of a plugin for this. However I'm pretty sure this could be done with the standard components. My first thought would be to use 'Clash One|Many' and 'Trim Solid'.

    Can you create a UI for your graashopper model where you only expose the parameters that the user can change and hide all the spaghetti nodes.

  • @StructuredParametrics

    Yes sure. There are several options. First you can simply group the spaghetti into a cluster which turns everything into one component (leaving variables exposed). Or you can use a UI plugin. Or you can even put it on the web.

    dont you add tekla live pulign

  • @StructuredParametrics

    @StructuredParametrics

    That is a useful one if you use Tekla. For fabricators, the Tekla plugin would be number 1! Many Engineers will not use Tekla though because Architects more commonly use Revit and it makes sense to use what the Architect uses.
