"a bike that's easier to ride is a bike that you're going to ride more often." which is why im going down from a 600 to a 300 again. also can you keep your videos this style of videography. its so much better in 3rd person!

I agree, however, everyone has their "Mo Powa Babeh" phase then learn smaller, lighter bikes are actually more fun to ride. Granted, if you go to the track where can exploit the full potential of a 600 then maybe there is an argument to opt for the more powerful one.

@@dylanw890 I like 600s because they still have great acceleration at freeway speeds. Have put a lot of miles on a mt-09 and it’s definitely way too much bike to ever be practical as a street bike but I’d argue the mt-07 is perfect

I've been riding 20 years and for me that 321cc engine is still a massive plus on the road. It's so much fun to be able to ride a bike on the road where you can fully use the engine and go up through the gears using all of the revs. My other ride is a Street Triple and you just can't ride it that way - it does over the maximum legal speed in first gear.

Got this for my first bike experience a couple months ago and no regrets. VERY fun and VERY good for beginners. Lots of fundamentals to learn and build upon. I’m 5’8 and 32 inseam and my ankle/calf is feeling a bit cramped. No windshield so expect lots of buffeting at higher speeds. Engine revs high almost always, so long freeway rides get buzzy and feel “labored” on the engine. 80 MPH = 8500-8600 RPM. Light weight. Forgiving throttle. Good torque/power response. About 54 MPG. Not meant for full tuck, more 3/4 and upright sit stance. Priced VERY competitively at less than $5k, and you get a lot for what you pay for. More of a short sprinter as opposed to cruising and long touring. Expect to shift A LOT as the gearing is super short 5th and 6th are pretty much overdrive. Nimble, fun, economical, and FUNNNNN

I constantly watch yam's and chase's videos before I bought my MT-03 almost a year ago. I'm having so much fun with the bike even tho it does not have much power as the Z400 I just love the MT-03
Awesome review! Love the quality of your video, Chase. Keep up the good work! Off to see ol' Papa Yam's vid now.

This is an exceptionally well-produced video and I hope Yamaha took notice. Really selling me on it here...
I live in a country where we had the 2019 MT03 its an amazing bike and I love the new stylings of the 2020 version I would recommend this bike to beginners that want to learn and do a little bit of modding because of how easy everything is to work with
That shot at the start was done really well with the audio editing
Just buy it yesterday...really worth it !! Good job yamaha
Really enjoyed test riding this bike and I’ve been trying to pick out a small cc bike to add for local riding but now I’m glad I waited because the color on the 2021 is just awesome. Great little bike
This was amazingly coordinated 😁
I bought a new 2023 MT-03 and couldn't be more happy with it. Such an easy bike to handle. You can ride this thing for hours effortlessly. The shifting is super forgiving and it actually has a decent amount of pep. I've rode a Z400 before, and honestly the power difference is barely noticeable. The MT-03 however feels a lot more planted on the ground and stable in comparison.
You straight amazed me with that first minute.
Wow wow wee waaah . Salivating over this bike! The appearance of this bike really does it for me. After hearing you review this bike on its performance, comfort etc and being great for beginners.. ticking all boxes for me. May I also add.. this is the best bike video I have seen yet! Makes sense that when someone wants to view a bike on KZread, you want to actually see what it looks like, see it riden..So, bravo to you guys for actually filming it the way you have...a second person off the bike filming, not a pointless riders P.O.V.. that's my opinion anyways. Plus excellent quality video ! Cheeers. Off to the bike store tomorrow to eyeball this machine in person 🤤

I’m not ashamed to admit I overshot a stop sign slightly on my first R3 ride, I ripped the throttle and when it surged I slid back a bit and pulled the throttle a little more. Never again.
Great video shooting 👍👍

How’s that R3 brother? Was contemplating buying a 2020 R3 as well but am going to soon end up buying the 2020 MT hopefully this week!
The easy to ride factor is a big thing that I just noticed. I had my MT09 stolen, and just managed to get another bike.... a TW200. It only does like 65mph....ish and downhill, and you pretty much have to be wide open throttle to hit that. But....its hilarious and I ride it daily. I miss my 09, and will get another one or a 10, but will still likely ride the TW alot because its a riot.

I would like to add that, if the MT-03 and R3 are similar enough, the mileage is awesome on these. On my R3 I average ~60mpg and I ride it however I want. I don't really focus on mileage, buts it's nice to fill the tank for less than ten dollars and know I won't run out of gas for at least 150 miles. Plus my registration is less than $70 and my insurance is $65/mo. 👍

honestly people bash on us 300cc riders for being slow... but i have been on a 650cc and didnt have anywhere as much fun as i do on my 300cc. they are so light and zippy. sure you dont have that low end power but it still gets up and going enough to have heaps of fun. and honestly... thats a good thing ESPECIALLY for new riders. if you are a nervous new rider and are scared. dont let anyone talk you out of a 300cc bike they are amazing! but just be prepared to get gapped... a lot... 😆 - some random with a 300cc bike

Not that you’ll see this, but here’s my opinion on your videos. Motorcycle people don’t care as much about the production value of the videos. We care about the technical aspects and comparisons. You should focus less on the cutting edge camera angles and top quality editing, and focus more on riding. Zack Courts releases an MT-03 video at the same time as you and even though revzilla has fewer subs, his video has 3 times as many views. The production value on his video is literally zero, but he’s a well respected motorcycle fanatic and his opinion is valuable. Your videos are full of word and cinematic fillers that carry little value. Honestly I’m not hating. I would love to see you succeed and this is just my 2 cents on what I would like to see differently. You ride a great variety of motorcycles but I leave your videos feeling like I haven’t actually learned anything and I don’t have a good feel for the bike.

Honestly a z400 will be a better overall package for that small extra premium. Unfortunately in my country, z400 cost almost 2k more...
Not to bash yammie noob but they absolutely loved the svart over anything else and now i can't take them seriously. Here in Europe those are common and notorious for their back breaking, neck bending, wrist limping riding positions. They're good looking bikes with good features and engines. But that position is just an absolute deal breaker.

Low torque . No thanks ! Yeah getting off a UK A1 licence 125cc and getting on a Triumph Speed Twin (with bucket loads of torque ) was a bit of a shock (rain mode helped!) . Lots of torque makes gear change selection easier. All it is , learn how to use the throttle. i.e. treat it with respect.

what ever negative comments i see about the mt-03 doesn't keep me from buying it and i did thank god, now im enjoying every minute of it, its a fun riding motorcycle for me i really don't care if i'm an experienced driver what most important to me is you enjoy riding the bike and here in california going over the speed limit is a big thing because a lot of cops are there outside looking for a speeder that do beyond the limits of the state law and lastly i wanted a streetbike not a racer bike to show off in the city there is no racer bike that could turn head again and again like they do to mine buying an expensive more power bike is like buying an expensive coffin for yourself and you just registered your life with the death stalker and i'm serious of what i said
