I am Loving the new Mac foundation!! I have slightly dry skin and when I use a bb it’s a really pretty satin finish. And I just use my sunscreen as primer/prep. And I swear my skin looks better after I’ve worn it all day!❤

I wonder if you’ve ever tried the BeautyBlender foundation? I found a perfect shade match with this for the first time and really like the coverage and formula for my dry skin. It has just enough talc that I have a glowing satin finish that doesn’t require any powder to set. I love not wearing power without shining all over… Loving the Yummy Skin tint and will love it more as my skin continues to clear up… not sure I’ll ever use a foundation with Avobenzone though, sorry Dior!

Mal…I’ve been using the Dior Forever Matte for stage makeup for my mature wrinkled dry skin. Full lights and sweat. I would like to use less powder to blur out lines since that’s a double edged sword. Should I try the YSL instead??

yes! pretty much all of them, because I personally have very sensitive skin. So if it works for me its usually a pretty good dry/sensitive rec

🤣🤣🤣 Luminous silk is still a top all time favorite. But it is a satin finish, I’ve talked about it a ton already, AND I’ve tested soooooo many great foundations and tints this year that deserve the attention!

I'm definitely checking out the Yummy skin and the Tarte I've also got the Dior Forever Skin Glow in my cart which is a hard purchase at $100 Australian. I need the skinlike glowing foundations or tints with decent coverage with my dehydrated skin with redness.

Did the MAC foundation go darker after few hours?

Mallory what spf do you use? I find that so many are glowy and then I add a foundation with some luminosity and I look like the tin man and have to powder. I’m dry and mature skinned so that’s not ideal. Could you possibly do a skin prep video?

I do! The Beauty Blender Pro is my fave because it’s denser and you get more coverage, and a smoother finish. It’s the black one🖤

The Tarte Maracuja did not work for me. I have normal skin and it looked so makeup like on me. And it felt tacky after setting with powder

I’m so disappointed I’ve used the Armani luminous silk for years and suddenly it just doesn’t work with my skin anymore 😢 like overnight. Absolutely no glow, even with glow primer underneath and highlighter mixed in. I’ve tried it all but 🤷‍♀️
