After this video, my stats on these skills are: ERS Management 8/10 BBW Controlling 6/10 (dont hv a lot of experience) Energy Efficient Cornering 7/10 DRS 8/10 (after seeing some of my sim races i was surprised tbh 😂) Visual Anchoring 9/10 (I mean I usually hit my apexes 😂)

Hey Cameron! Been watching you from the Becoming Champion series, you’re amazing! I have a question: I always lose it on bumps, so could you suggest how to control gas/electric karts when braking on bumps? Thanks!

Thanks for being an OG sub, much appreciated! For the locking over bumps, you could try a slower "ramp-up" on the brakes. So slow the rate you go from 0% to 100% to prevent the kart from pitching too much on the initial hit.

Yoooo i was taught visual anchoring by a random teen the first day I went to mountain bike on my own! I don't use it much nowadays but how cool is that's!

I use visual anchoring all the time when driving spirited on the road. How else could you drive fast safely? I though everybody is doing that😮

Depends on your age, but join a sim racing league if you have a wheel or try an indoor karting league budget permitting. Definitely the two best ways to soak up skills as fast as possible. If you’re serious about it, take notes every time you’re on track!

When I heard him explaining visual anchor points I got flashbacks of guitar hero on expert, it’s useless to look at where you need to press the buttons bc of the speed so you end up watching the top of the screen which would be your visual anchor. Anybody else get that vibe from it?
