А если ( чисто теоретически) попробовать заточить косой угол спила на трубочке, и вращать деревяшку всторну этих заточенных граней,не чище ли будет поверхность палочки?

First and last (9:15) ones look like clear winners-smooth finish straight off the bench. The first one could even be done with just the scrap pipe, file, and drill; while the last one seems to produce the most precise results.

On the table saw jig, why not cut the dowel off after you reach the end and not draw it back through which seems to be when it gets scared up. The withdraw the short remainder and toss it aside. I don't think you would lose much useful length. Also add a second guide block with a slightly larger hole than your finished dowel on the exit side along the fence to steady the finished dowel and keep it from whipping around. On smaller diameters that could break and come flying back at you with a sharp jagged end that you just know is going to find your eye no matter how fast you are.

Вы все правильно подметили,но первый способ легко модернизировать сделав горизонтальные пропилы на части трубки.

Мне больше понравился последний вариант - и делает чисто, и метод универсален - можно легко сделать приспособление под свой размер, а для первого варианта придется поискать подходящую трубу

Buenas noches Duncan Mansilla Deij! ¡Gracias por el comentario! No entendí bien su pregunta: ¿está preguntando sobre el segundo método? Si es así, entonces tome una roscado muere de M10 y M12 mm (en el video uso una roscado muere M6)

El primero me pareció el mas fácil de hacer para el mejor resultado. Pero todos han sido geniales.

Me alegra que te hayan gustado todos los métodos, aunque no estaba satisfecho con los métodos # 2 y 4. # 2 - No me gustó la superficie de los palos de madera, # 4 - Pensé que no era del todo seguro

@@MazayDIY Estoy de acuerdo. El #5 también da un acabado estupendo, pero para un aficionado puede ser un poco complicado de construir. En cambio el #1 parece muy fácil de construir y tiene la ventaja que al ir el desplazándose el tarugo por el interior del tubo, evita que cimbree; incluso si el tubo fuese mas largo puede que el tarugo fuese totalmente sin vibración. Cuando me haga falta hacer un tarugo creo que voy a optar por el #1. Muchas gracias por este vídeo que ha sido muy instructivo. Saludos.

Would the first method (tube) work for a thick dowel, say 1.5 inch in diameter? Would appreciate a few tips for a beginner. I messed around with a dowel making jig, but it chips the wood instead of shaving it.

Swapnil Chaudhary, I have not tried the first method to make thick dowels, but I think that for such a diameter it is important to sharpen the teeth of the tube and rotate the workpiece with a powerful drill. To avoid chipping, high revs are needed. Thick dowels, I tried to wish for the fifth method and it works great, again, you need a powerful drill

@@MazayDIY Update: The jig works fine now. I guess I was being a bit too gentle (cautious) with my drill. I sharpened the chisel and let it rip. It works fine. Needs a lot of sanding though.Thanks!
