Great tutorials. I would love to see a video tut on converting scanned / photographed color negatives. Everyone talks about Auto White Balance and Invert as though they are all that's needed. But the orange cast (Inverted to Cyan) remains. I've seen tutorials for other photo editors but not GIMP. And, is there a G'mic filter that could help?

When you applied the yellow @24:25, Mine didn't change color at all. I may have it set up differently? I don't know. I saved the project awaiting your advice
By the way a better way of changing the colour for all of them was to choose COLOURIZE instead of HUE SATURATION. As we can do that in a better way with that😉

This works better... using hue saturation it doesn't even worked for me 🤔

My wife is a blonde but wants to know what she would look like as a brunette. I can get greens, purple and pink hair. But I can’t get brown. Am I doing something wrong or is there a different process I need to use? I also tried to use TJ Frees How to add color to an old photo. No real luck there either. Is it possible my wife’s hair is too blonde?
