What's the recommended tension for Weiss CANNON Black 5 Edge? I used to look for more control and string as high as 61lbs in the past. But as I understand the newer strings and racquets recommend lower tensions?

Polyester strings can be strung about 10% lower than the nylon strings you may have used in the past. I personally string at 52lbs usually, but if you are coming form 61lbs nylon, I would try 55lbs. P.S. check out my new channel called TennCom for more regular uploads.

I had read elsewhere that Cyclone performance drops off pretty quickly, but you indicate it holds up pretty well?

Given the price of Cyclone, I think it holds up pretty well. For me, it lasts longer than RPM Blast, but won't last longer than any Solinco strings. And for me, its not so much the playability that drops off, but the tensions. It is my string of choice right now for the price.

What strings and tension would you recommend for the Purr Strike 16x19? Currently use the RPM Blast with a Pure Aero. Thanks.

I recommend trying the same string pattern on the new racquet and seeing where it falls short for you game first. I like to minimize variables when I'm experimenting.
