People don’t want to spend half their holiday on the toilet if they don’t eat Thai kind of food. I had pad Thai in a food court and went straight through me so avoided all Thai food for back home. Not spending thousands to be stuck on the toilet all week

Sometimes you just need a quick something to eat, and something you are familiar with will work. But yes I have heard from people who live there that it is best to steer clear of street food unless it's hot off the burner.

If your in staying in Patong and not bothered about exploring the rest of Phuket I would just walk, but if you want to explore around different places in Phuket other than Patong I would recommend getting a motorbike 👍
