I know bro that Port is in Trivandrum District but The official name of Port is Vizhinjam International Seaport. Because for example Vadhavan Port also in Palghar District but Vadhavan Port name is not Palghar Port. Same Belekeri Port is in North Kannada District but its not Officially known as North Kannada District Port its know as Belekeri Port. Same for Vizhinjam International Seaport ant that is their official name. Either you can call it XYZ Port but I have to tell Official Names only. Thanks if you understand my point

Some nasty politicians don't want brand the city name "Trivandrum". They hate the name Trivandrum. So anything positive related news happened in Trivandrum they (media, politicians etc) use only local place name. But every negative news even if it happens 50km away from the city, "TRIVANDRUM" title will be clearly mentioned in the news. So we trivandrumites always promote our city brand TRIVANDRUM in every positive news.

Vizhi jsm looks to be the most promising. However to be really successful, all the logistics and other infrastructure should work seamlessly. This will minimize waiting time and be an added attraction to mother ships

There are many reasons why completion of infrastructures takes so many time in India. Reasons: 1. Less capacity/ability of Indians (planners, engineers, labourers etc). 2. Red tap of govt officers. 3. Complexity of land acquisition. 4. Opposition from opposition parties, NGOs/environmentalists. 5. Unwillingness or lack of initiative from central govt (PM). This bjp govt is very positive, very speedy in case of development. Think about Congress regime you will find the answer. (from Bangladesh)

Vizhijnam Port is the major port of india Just inaugurated now. It's 8 years late now after starting of construction.adhani tell that this port will operational in 1000 days in 2015. But it's 2023 now. This port project already late by 80 years by first British and after our dearest all government and environmentalists.
