There’s nothing bigger than United v Arsenal - people could feel the hate between SAF and Wenger and fans wanted to kill each other in angst every single time. It is also the rivalry that put Premier League on the Map, the world getting TVs and getting glued to the sheer passion for the game. My Father says the same thing, he never witnessed anything in football that was as high stakes as that game.

Arsenal v United hands down. The achievements both clubs got at the height of the rivalry. The quality and intensity of the matches themselves, the history and the drama is rivalled by none. A lot of people say United v Liverpool because they are the 2 most successful English clubs, but how many times have you watched a United v Liverpool game and its been boring? For me, a lot. When the fixture comes out the first one I look for me vs the Scums every year since 1987. That will never change they are our eternal rivals....Liverpool v United the English Derby.

And for City, well, they're fucking scousers, and there is nothing more a Mancunian despises. From a Man City fan's perspective, no other club has made me this angry. I'll forever hate United, but we've never really competed against one another; and right now in the Prem, they are forgettable. Liverpool, on the other hand, are the only team that pose a threat to City's reign-and it's a big threat at that. I cannot stand them; I celebrate all their losses; I don't need Arsenal or Chelsea or Spurs fans to validate it. Paul gets it.

With social media and player image and PR and stuff, players just don't openly hate each other anymore. Pep vs Klopp is the Arsene vs SAF but on an intellectual level. There's no modern manager who openly calls out other manager in press conferences anymore. Same with players. Roy Keane said on Sky sports how much he hates the LFC vs UTD game cause players were hugging each other before the game. So accounting for the fact that Football itself has changed, City vs Liverpool does deserve its shout against Arsenal v United.

@@kingdarwin8953 I never said it was #1. But the guys in this video are acting like there's nothing between City and Liverpool when that's simply not the case. There's hatred there before football is even considered. Also this video was supposed to be about biggest games and it got skewed into rivalries pretty quickly. Currently and for the past decade any big team coming against City is a big game because it's trophy and league deciding. That's fact. Newcastle vs Sunderland is a massive derby but its never for anything so the game itself is not very important in the grand scheme of things.

Well Chelsea are still a bigger more successful club than Chelsea! They was playing ucl knockouts against Ac milan while man City city was in the championship! Us brits know how city got there! Chelsea are no better from that perspective!
