TDS in your water source requires RO. If there are no harmful metals like Arsenic, lead, cadmium or Chlorine, then you can choose a water purifier with TDS Controller like Kent Supreme or Aquaguard Aura but if you want 100% RO purification and you want the water to taste like mineral water, you can choose Pureit, Livpure, V-Guard or AO Smith models. It is a personal choice. Both types are good.

You have to Pay Rent even when you are out of town and you have to pay extra money when you use extra water. If you are in Hyderabad, you can go for UC Native M1 which is around 13K. First 2 Years Warranty and No AMC, Covers every single filter and electrical parts also. After that AMC for next 2 Years is 4500 which is a good deal.

100% RO aite TDS 50 kadu inka taggutundi but valu add chese minerals valla TDS above 100 Range lo ki vastundi. TDS 100 to 300 is the excellent range. According to BIS TDS below 500 unte RO akkarledu ani cheptaru but mana borewell water manchiga lekapote 400 above untene RO teskunte better. Mi water lo Harmful chemicals like flourine or metals like Arsenic, lead, cadmium alantivi lekapote, TDS Controller unde models aina better and you can set the TDS in 100 to 200 range. Also, 100% RO models lo kuda TDS above 100 e vastundi. I tested models from Pureit and the TDS range is around 125ppm

Actually Alkalline water is nothing but water that contains right amount of Minerals like Calcium, Magnesium, Sodium, Potassium which are already found naturally in water. As your water source is municipal water and the TDS in your water is good, you can opt for UV UF water purifier.
